I could talk all day about the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, they were soo delicious! They weren't too greasy or dry, absolutely... cooked to perfection. I initially ordered the Truffle Fries as well however my taste buds didn't jive with them. My server askedif I'd like a different kind so I ordered the handcut Cajun Fries and those were very good! ? chef ? asked me to call the store to apologize & ? fix it? . I called and he tried to call me a liar and say they were closed... when I ordered & was annoyed as If I?m not more annoyed. Assured him I?m no liar. Said would call me back by the end of the daywith refund. waited for a call back for 2 days. Never got a call. Called after two days and he told me that I need to come inand I can get one free steak. A steak. Very unprofessional, even the lady who answered the phone. Very bothered and neverresolved anything, just $30 in the garbage. Oh & I had to make this review from my other account because the owner BLOCKED myprevious account after all of this. Disgusting! 9 adults and 2 kids from Louisiana and Texas. Believe me, we know about eating environments; good food; hospitality and fun! ... We had all the above! He found out we were out of town and threw in a little red carpet! It was so good, I almost ate a pieceof chicken from the floor that I had dropped. I wanna put zero stars. I?m Not exaggerating I hate leaving reviews like this. I Spent over $30 for this. So salty my daughter... literally threw up. So much salt on the fries AND steak it spiked my blood pressure. I am so sad. Trying to get a hold ofsomeone & it goes straight to vm. I literally can?t eat this if I was starving. I am so confused, never dealt with anything likethis. I would love a refund honestly. Plate full, with salt still intact. Smh and it looked so good when I ordered It, all thefood did. Very much enjoyed this place. I dont go out often but this was worth it. I hear they do unlimited mimosas for 10 bucks on... sundays so this may be me and the girls new brunch spot. 8/10 would recommend (only because I did not try the food) drinks,atmosphere and music were 10/10 tho. Read more
A must stop again when in Waterbury. Stayed at the Marriott near by, didn?t want to drive far and found this on Google. So I... gave them a try. The name is catchy, and that drew me in out of curiosity. Upon entering the establishment, first contact wassomeone at the bar as I was waiting to be seated. The young Miss approached me asked if I was staying or going and please seatwhen I feel comfortable. The lighting was some what low and fit the ambience of the space. I felt comfortable and the mood wascalm, the lighting and atmosphere helped that. I had the barbecue wings, received a considerable amount of wings which Ienjoyed. My entire interaction was great, I will be back next time I am in Waterbury. Give House of GOATS a try. I?m veryimpressed. Read more
