My boyfriend and I recently discovered this food truck and we LOVE it! We've been back 4 times in a month lol. The food is so... well seasoned and fresh; the portions are very good!! An order of chicken and rice is $10 and you definitely get your money'sworth! Also, ask for extra white sauce because it's amazing!! Read more

Best food in Waterbury. Fast and kind service. Food is delicious every single time. I always get the falafel over rice or... falafel sandwich with fries. Read more

I have always liked Haji's Halal Cart. However, over time they raised their prices but their quantity of food decreased... significantly. For example, they raised their rice platters to 9.99$ but the amount of chicken and rice decreased to a halfserving. I just want to give guidance to anyone from the business who reads this--please don't decrease quantity whileincreasing costs, that is not a good way to do business as its cheating people. I will not return, there are other halalfoods/carts that are sincere and have good business intentions. Response to the business owner: it is not the lack of QUALITY--it is the lack of QUANTITY [portion size] that decreased significantly even though prices were raised. However, previously youhad lower prices with excellent quality and quantity of food. I understand raising prices but I cannot tolerate less amount offood for more cost. Read more

Haji?s is the best New York style halal food in the area. Much better than those Halal guy?s franchise stores in my opinion. I... went to college in Queens and tried several different food carts and Haji?s food stands up with the best of them. Now that I?mback in CT, I drive 30 min to Haji?s without even blinking an eye. I always have the chicken and lamb over rice. Only complaintwould be portion sizes, but with inflation, especially with meats, I can?t blame the guy. You can always ask him to increaseportion size for a few extra dollars. Read more

Nice NY style halal food truck. It?s located in a gas station parking lot and has plenty of parking available for a quick food... grab. Conveniently it also has a table section for eating outside. The food tastes good and the guy working has good customerservice. The portions could be a bit bigger but nothing really worth complaining about. In addition, it?s one of the only halalspots in Waterbury so $10/plate is pretty fair when you factor in supply & demand. Overall I?m happy I found this place. Read more

Awesome and tasty halal place for a quick bite. However, a bit more in quantity would be nice.
