Sunday afternoon Atmosphere was really nice and waiter was super nice. The double burger with the extra stuff is to much. A... single burger would be better. Food was pretty good, but the service was less than stellar. The waitress was nice and friendly but didn't use a pen and paper,... so our order was messed up a small handful of times. Not a big deal, but something so simple could have made the experiencebetter. Cole slaw was different, probably not good though in general, I recommend avoiding it. Two pool tables and dart boardsif you'd like to play some games. Not a bad place and it's nice it's in an area without many restaurants and it's open prettylate, even on Sundays. First time having dinner here and we were all very satisfied. There was no wait for a table, they were busy but not crowded at... all, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. The only negative is they didn't have a desert menu, even thoughthey offer some deserts. We didn't see it if they do have one. We ordered cheesecake to go, given the price we were surprised bythe size. They were delicious though. Their whole menu was priced really well, too. Update: the food is still good and the waitresses are friendly and informative. They were a little backed up the other night... (like every other place short of workers) and they let us know up front that they could get our beverages right off but it wouldtake a little time for the food. We understood; we opted to stay; we enjoyed great meals. It is nice to have more optionsavailable. 5 Ponds Public House has only been open for about a month, but my guess is that, if they keep tweaking, adapting,and improving, they will make it long term. There is only one other pub option in the immediate area, which was very popular andalways busy in the pre-Wuhan era, but has had a rocky last year or so. Traffic should be good enough to keep both optionsopen. The eatery/pub is in a recently built strip mall on a major Route. The lot was fairly packed when we arrived. Whilewaiting to be seated we had time to witness a couple of families playing at the 2 pool tables to our immediate right. Ahead, tothe right, were 3 dart boards, and immediately to our left behind us was a couch with cards and a cribbage board available, aswell as a small checkers table with 2 chairs. Ahead to the left was a U shaped bar, serving wine and beer, with perhaps 12 or 14stools mostly occupied.. In the adjoining room, separated from the gaming area, by the bar and a small walkway, was thespacious dining room. Nice, new wooden benches are all along the front windows that face the parking lot, save for the areaoccupied by the exit. It seems that there were 8 or 10 tables, amply spaced in the room. As the traffic increases, and Wuhan-19,hopefully takes an exit, if not at least a back burner, there is perhaps room for another 6 to 8 tables.
