I checked website from Google which took me to Facebook didn't see anything saying closed. Saw 2 days prior they had been for a... big order. Couldn't find a number to double check. Drive 30 minutes to get there just to find out they are closed for a bigorder. I have heard great things about the food, but doesn't seem worth the hassle when you can't even warn potential customersbefore they drive 30 minutes that you will be closed during normal business hours. Went to Krazy Moose instead which always hasgreat food and customer service. Read more

Best sandwiches in Alaska hands down. Worst manager/owner ever. No phone number to call. Says open on Google. So I drive 20... minutes out of my way for lunch. And guess what she?s closed. Went last week and she said that she was open Monday throughThursday. Off Friday Saturday Sunday. So annoying because they have the best sandwiches ever. The manager just sucks at being amanager. If you go there and she?s open then you?re gonna have the best time of your life. But it?s a hit or miss. Get theOptimus prime it?s the best!!! Read more

I thought it was a bit much to pay 11 bucks for a sandwich? Then I got it. It was the size of three normal sandwiches. I was... able to eat half of it and half the chips before I had to give up. Then had most of the other half later. It?s one person takingorders and making the food, so the wait times are around 20-25 minutes at lunch time. But well worth it if you have the time. And we?ll worth the 11 bucks too. Filled me up twice. Read more

Best sammies in the valley! This is a one person shop, and the owner hustles to make each sandwich and salad to order. Very busy... the last few times I went, but it's worth the wait! Read more

The most delicious and best sandwiches in the valley! The Optimus Prime is my favorite, definitely worth the drive, the sandwich... literally was lunch and dinner, it was packed with tender slices of beef, had the right amount of spice and the bread was fresh! If you had more stars I would give them. We're going again to try the others! Read more

Today was my first time going to The Breadcrumb. I had read previous reviews that said the hours aren't always reliable, so I... went off of what The Breadcrumb's facebook page said since it seems to be updated more often there. The owner Marcy greeted mejust as I entered the cafe. She was very friendly and upbeat. There were a few people ahead of me, but it wasn't much of a wait. She was the only one working, and it's my understanding that it's a one woman show. She does everything herself and was doing afantastic job keeping up with orders and chatting with customers. I decided to order the Optimus Prime Sandwich which is madewith London broil, Pepper Jack Cheese, Horseradish, Red Onion, Red peppers, and Jalapenos on toasted bread. It came with potatochips and a pickle. It was only $11.50 and considering how much food there was I think that's a definite bargain. There's morethan enough to share with another person. The sandwich was so delicious and I would order it again. A few people ahead of meordered salads and those looked massive too. The Customer Service and food here is great. I'll absolutely be back. Don't waste your money here. Owner cares nothing for her customers or the business it seems. I've visited this establishment... multiple times. I tried to ignore all the other negative reviews. Enjoyed the sandwiches, complimented the owner on her worklike a good patron would do. After a couple times where I drove 30+ minutes to get a sandwich only to find out that she was notopen when she stated she'd be open, I made a friendly suggestion to her to try to make her hours a little more accurate forthose of us who have to drive far and don't get many opportunities to get up that way (since she's only open weekdays about 4hours a day). She got super defensive, despite me trying to be polite and constructive and she ended up removing me from thebusiness page and blocking me rather that listen to the feedback. I understand things happen sometimes but this is not anisolated incident for me, nor quite a few other people from what I've seen and heard. What kind of childish business owner can'ttake constructive feedback from their customers. Obviously one who doesn't care much about the business and has the temper of a2 year old. Change the attitude and the business model and I'll change my rating, until then I'll take my money elsewhere. Read more

Such an amazing sandwich! She?s a one woman show, so be patient. It?s well worth the wait when she?s busy! Never seen a... sandwich or salad that compares! Read more
