My husband and I had gone for the first time since moving here a year ago. We walk in, and it's definitely a nice, friendly... family restaurant. We both got the steak fajitas. They were superb. I haven't had good Mexican food in a long time. All ofthe staff were very friendly. Our service was quick. My only regret is not finding this delightful restaurant a year ago. Read more

Great authentic Mexican food in a unique setting. Order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The trash can... nachos are served in a large can that they open in a presentation in front of you. Huge portions. Read more

Been there a few times now, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely great service. The salsa bar is well stocked... with great options. Most recently I got the Mach Burrito. Love the flavor, but the long pieces of shredded beef made itdifficult to break down. All of the food is good, but I can't say it's vastly above what I'd expect from this type ofrestaurant. Absolutely worth every penny!!! Wonderful Mexican food that even I can't find fault in. After having spent the better part of 20... years doing construction down in Mexico I can say that I'm very happy to have found this little gem in Alaska of all places. Weordered the seafood chimichanga, and the shrimp ceviche with horchata. The horchata thankfully was exactly like I had hoped. Allthe flavor, and freshness of the food was spot on. I'll start by saying that my husband and I stopped in after reading a negative review on Facebook. I got the shrimp ceviche... tostadas with horchata. My husband had the seafood chimichanga with rice and beans and washed it all down with a MexicanCoke. From the salsa bar we had the mild salsa and molcajete salsa. We loved everything about our dining experience. The staffwere all extremely respectful and friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful. They weren't as busy on a Sunday afternoon, but stillbusy enough to have a constant flow of people. The restaurant was clean and tables constantly wiped down as people left. Thefood was absolutely delicious and full of wonderful flavors, including the rice and beans, we were VERY pleased they weren'tbland. The homemade horchata was great and sprinkled with cinnamon as it should be. My husband is quite picky about Mexican foodas he spent the better part of 20odd years volunteering his time and building orphanages in Mexico, so he was quite pleased withhis food, where he hasn't been as pleased at other local spots.
