Beef jerky and sticky rice was great. My sisters loved the mountain of fried rice they got. Lao tea and Lao coffee were pretty... good. The spicy sauce that came with the roasted pork belly was spicy as hell (I have a low tolerance for spice but my fiancedoesn't) but still really good. Waitress and the cooks did a very good job. Definitely going back for dinner Read more

Cafe Khao Neow is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Alaska?especially since going vegan. The food and service are... always consistent and the place is always clean. The Veg Curry Noodle Soup is amazing and I always have enough for leftovers thenext day. Definitely five stars! Read more

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Seward, and were pleasantly surprised with how good everything was! The food has tons of... flavor and the portions are pretty decent. We ordered the pork laab (which comes with soup and your choice of rice), and the tomyum fried rice. The fried rice portion size was probably double what I've seen in other places in AK. Absolutely recommend! Read more

I love this place. I come in every time I'm in town for work for the authentic Lao dishes. Chicken noodle soup is great for... those cold days. I also enjoy their cute baskets and decor. Read more

Best restaurant in Wasilla. Delicious food and great service. Still plenty of options for me since I've switched to a mostly... meatless diet. They have the best spring rolls I've ever had, they are big and full of fresh herbs and the sauce is perfect. Irecommend the crispy pork (crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside) or steak (it's cooked perfectly every time, never tough)for the meat options with sticky rice and jeow dipping sauces. The crispy lao salad, pho, and chicken noodle soup are amazing aswell. For meatless, the tofu broccoli entree, tofu laab, and curry noodle soup are my favorites. The khua mee stir fried noodlesand any of the fried rice (but especially the basil curry fried rice) are incredible too! For appetizers, the tofu in gingersauce, steam buns, and spring rolls are my favorites. Can you tell I've had almost the whole menu? The vibe is always sopeaceful in there too with the nice music they play and I love that they always have one of my favorite food vloggers Mark Wienson the TV lol. Read more

Some of the best east asian food I?ve had anywhere in the US. Large portions give you great bang for your buck. Flavors are very... intense and delicious. The sweet pork stew with a nice soy sauce balance and quail eggs was fantastic with some sticky rice onthe side. The char siu pork was fantastic with a lovely spicy sauce on the side for a perfect pairing. The noodle soup wascoconut and creamy with a very light and delicate flavor that you could always intensify with the sauces on the side. Papayasalad appetizer was also nice with a strong fish sauce flavor but balanced with the nice lettuce and rice noodles. Read more
