Although it had been years since I last visited, I joined some friends here for dinner the weekend after Thanksgiving and had a... lovely time. We got the rose and red wine flights and had fun trying each of the very distinct offerings. The food is delicious- we shared the gnocchi, pan seared salmon, and chicken piccata panini. One of the greatest dining experiences I've ever had. the atmosphere, service, food, and drink selection is impeccable. I... dinned over the weekend, and told them I was vegan, and they went above and beyond to fit my dietary restrictions. They custommade me my own pesto, and adjusted 2 menu items to accommodate. The pizza they made - was probably the best pizza I've ever hadin my life. the crust was so fresh, as well as the tomatoes and greens that were on top. it had the snap of toasted crust buta soft bready inside - with the most intense fire roasted brick oven flavor. absolutely incredible 11 out of 10. therestaurant itself is super open and clean, and has a warm vibe to it. if ur in DC - this is a must stop. What a great dinner date experience! Very good wine list. The menu was a nice variety too. But neither were so extensive that... they were without focus. We paired four courses with four wines and all were exceptional. They use a nitrogen system so thatglasses are just as fresh as unopened bottles. And the food is awesome.
