I did the solo option, was kinda worried going into it. Host and waiter were kind and explained options. I went with the chef's... choice tasting menu. Would recommend that option if going single. Got to try a bunch of things i wouldn't have otherwise andenjoyed it all. Staff was talkative and answered all questions I had. And seeing what they do in the kitchen from the chef'stable was cool. Everything exceeded expectations and I would recommend it for anyone in the area or visiting. I would visitagain! Read more
This was my first time at a Michelin star restaurant and it was an amazing experience. I booked the garden bar area mistakenly... thinking it was just for the garden area in general and I’d have a table so I was disappointed when I was seated but it endedup being a great experience. Josh, the bartender, was really personable and knowledgeable and my fiancé and I really enjoyedchatting with him. The food was really good, especially the steak and eggs dish. Read more
Enjoyed all of the menus we ordered. Rose’s Luxury is a smart creative restaurant- not using any unheard or arcane ingredients... or recipe, it effortlessly creates a new combination of tastes. The way it’s priced is hard to understand ($85 per personprefix for dinner regardless of what you order) and may make it relatively more expensive for some combination of dishes. Very nice dining experience. Only negative is the lack of ability to walk in. Orders: - soft shell crab: awesome combination of... fried soft shell crab with lettuce wrap. Soft shell crab was fresh and well fried which is sometimes hard to find in thestates. - steak and egg: unique presentation of tater tot in a 'race car' box. Steak is well cooked and seasoned simply. Nothingreally special but this is how steak should be. - strawberry cake: good overall. Would prefer a more egg based cake. Sample: -movie theatre soup? : It was too salty. Not a big fan. Wonderful dinner with old friends. For each person, you order two savory items. Since we were a group of 4, we tried everything... plus two desserts and a bottle of wine. We loved our meal! It was also a belated birthday celebration and the singing, swirlingcandle holder was a wonderful surprise. I would love to attempt to replicate some of those dishes. Read more
