Not bad, based on a “Terrace” dining experience on a warm but blustery evening. Food seemed good including the Panna cotta... cheese cake, despite the Oreo cookie perched on top. You don’t see many of those in Italy… Read more

Showed up on a Sunday and was pleased it was half price bottle wine night. The portions are massive! The fresh bread was good. I... appreciated the Frank Sinatra overhead. There was something off about my dish though, maybe the taste, maybe because it was alittle souper than I was expecting. Seemed like the owner made his rounds to every table so they really care about customersatisfaction - says a lot these days! Read more

Hands down my favorite dc Italian restaurant. I always get the bruschetta and the bolognese. The pasta is freshly made in house... so it's a no brainer. I believe Wednesday is half of bottles. Chris has been there forever and is the best. Quaint and cuteromantic vibe. They do have a bar upstairs though if you want to sit alone. Read more

I had a reservation for 7:30, it was impossible to get parking in the area. That being said, it was totally worth it, I hadn’t... been able to find quality food and atmosphere for a thoughtful price. The service was attentive, and I loved that our waiterDarren had personality with knowledge of the spirits/wine. The food was fresh, and they do update their menu which has meexcited for the next visit, this place will definitely be in my rotation. Read more

Never thought I’d have spaghetti carbonara for breakfast and glad I did! It’s delicious. House-made pasta. Had brunch here... and it was excellent. Great dood. Great service. Bottomless mimosas and the best part was the 80’s music for ambiance :). Read more

Enjoyed a quick and classic spaghetti bolognese (beef & pork) with a nice glass of red wine the waiter suggested. The noodles... were thick (seemed to be homemade) and blended beautifully with the flavorful bolognese. It was very well prepared. I was notoffered bread but would have enjoyed soaking up the last bit of sauce. The service was efficient. I was there just before 5ahead of the evening rush. I’d definitely go back. The menu is thoughtful and I’d describe it as straight forward. Notextensive but still with a good offering. Just when I thought I had accomplished a nice quiet evening, one of the waitersstomped out apparently proclaiming he was not coming back. It’s a tuff time for the restaurant industry. I have come to expectgood food with average service… Read more

Atmosphere was average, service is average. Slow at times and could be that there are not enough waiters. The food was painful... to finish. A college student could do better in a dorm room. The pasta was more on the hard side of al dente, the accompanyingsauce was watery and the lamb dry without flavour. The brussel sprouts was over seasoned. Overall the food experience was meeh. Not a place to eat more like a place to hang out. Read more

I come here with often and the good is always the same quality. Brunch has gotten popular over the years, you'll have to call... ahead and make reservations just in case. For brunch, I always get the carbonara or sausage biscuit gravy. I love the wineselection when I get dinner there. The pasta is made in house which makes a huge difference. I've tried almost everything on themenu :). Read more
