Showed up on a Sunday and was pleased it was half price bottle wine night. The portions are massive! The fresh bread was good. I... appreciated the Frank Sinatra overhead. There was something off about my dish though, maybe the taste, maybe because it was alittle souper than I was expecting. Hands down my favorite dc Italian restaurant. I always get the bruschetta and the bolognese. The pasta is freshly made in house... so it's a no brainer. I believe Wednesday is half of bottles. I had a reservation for 7:30, it was impossible to get parking in the area. That being said, it was totally worth it, I hadn’t... been able to find quality food and atmosphere for a thoughtful price. The service was attentive, and I loved that our waiterDarren had personality with knowledge of the spirits/wine. Never thought I’d have spaghetti carbonara for breakfast and glad I did! It’s delicious. House-made pasta. Had brunch here... and it was excellent. Great dood. Great service. Bottomless mimosas and the best part was the 80’s music for ambiance :). Read more
