Busboys and Poets was an excellent restaurant that is full of great art, many local events, and even a book store. This location... is within a Community Collaborative building and you can feel the strong community connection. There were many different tablesfor big and small groups as well as bar seating. Service was quick, too. We were a group of 8 who was able to sit immediatelyduring Saturday brunch. The menu marks foods which are ?Gluten Free Friendly? and Vegan. Plus, gluten free bread is availablefor sandwiches, even though it?s not on the menu. Everyone in our group was happy with our food. Definitely would recommend andwe?ll be back! Read more

I'm a regular at B&P but this was my first time at this particular location. I was very disappointed. When I first entered I was... unclear if I were to stand at the front and wait for someone or go to the bar. After waiting 3+ minutes I walked over to thebar. I waited there for about 3 minutes as well, only to be told to go back to the front and wait for the host. When she cameshe handed me my bag but there was only one order in the bag. I waited another 5 mins for my second order. I ordered theblackened salmon and the fried chicken meal. The salmon was a little overcooked, but was edible. On the other hand, the friedchicken meal was a disaster. Either the chicken was overcooked or the grease needed changing. The mashed potatoes were stiff andbland. The collards were okay compared to what I'm used to receiving. So I ate the salmon meal and used the chicken and greensto make a soup. Not okay. I spent about 60 bucks and still left a tip. Not sure if I would return to this particular location. However, I don't want to forget that when the host did arrive, she was very kind and had great customer service. Read more

Really nice place, menù really interesting. Cocktails were really particular. I had shrimp and grits and it was AMAZING! First... of all it made me so full that I had to take 10 minutes to be able to leave the table and second it was cooked perfectly! Highlyreccomend for a date night or friends/family dinner. Definitely coming back Read more

Solid breakfast! If you are okay with a long wait to get a table, you will ultimately enjoy it. It?s nice that they have a... bookstore with a lot of inspiring books to look at while you wait. The vegan options are also a plus. Read more

We placed our order. It was a long wait and when they brought the food out we were missing an item so they rushed it and we got... it pretty quickly but for the inconvenience he should have not charged us for it. Other than that the food was great especiallythe spicy fried shrimp in a sweet glaze sauce. Read more

The venue was very spacious, art everywhere, and had a little book section. We came for brunch and had a relaxing time. The menu... has a lot of unique options, but they only had mimosas and Bloody Mary?s for brunch drink options. Read more
