Came here for a celebratory brunch with a friend, and overall the experience was solid. The customer service was great, the... staff was super sweet and accommodating. They even sent over complimentary champagne for my friend's accomplishment! She lovedtheir espresso martini and breakfast Sammie, and I enjoyed the fries + (delicious) aioli that came with them. The mimosas arealso a good size, in a wine glass and filled to the top, refilled pretty consistently. Only downside to the meal was theburger--I got an "All The Way" and ask for it to be cooked to medium. Unfortunately it came out well done and was tough to chew.Definitely worth a visit, though! What a stellar bar/restaurant in Capitol Hill! Good variety of whiskey and wine, delicious craft cocktails, and knowledgeable... bartenders. Food was also at a very high level, and the flavors and ingredients were unique and local. Pastas are top notch andthe desserts should not be missed. I couldn’t be more satisfied with a meal! Absolutely splendid meal from start to finish with attentive and informed service in this warm, dimly lit saloon-style... farm-to-table new American restaurant. We started with a quartet of creamy deviled eggs accented with crispy onion, on adelicious bed of pickled carrot and radish slaw. Next we shared roasted bone marrow with grilled bread, accompanied by pickledpistachios and for seasoning, some coarse salt. The extraction of the marrow is a bit of an experience but the wait staff areexcellent guides so don't feel shy about asking. The reward was worth it, the fatty marrow with a pinch of salt on the bread waseverything. Next was the cucumber and feta salad in a gorgeous green lemon balm emulsion with chive, fennel and benne seeds.Vibrant with cool flavor, it also served as a palette cleanser from the marrow. For our mains, we split two dishes: the burgerand bucatini. The burger with white cheddar and smoky bacon was perfectly cooked and literally dripping with indulgent flavor, and the fresh lettuce, tomato and onion added balance and texture to each bite. The bucatini was a savory delight, with aperfectly ground and blended dry pork ragu, accented with chives, garlic chips, and and sarvechhio. It needed nothing more, afully complete and engaging dish. We finished the meal with the candy bar dessert, with caramel and chocolate mousse bounded bythin and crunchy shortbread. Heaven. Throughout, I sipped on a very boozy cocktail called the Ambisinistrous, with bahnezmezcal, rye, campari and foro amoro. Registers like a Boulevardier. Strong but well balanced. Staff was extremely friendly withcollaborative service. Recommend highly. Can't wait to return. Read more

If you like a bar/saloon style ambiance with moms home cooking, that is what you get here. My Wife and I are regulars. They have... the best deviled eggs in the world and the slaw under their deviled eggs is amazing. If you like meat, their cuts are alwaysfresh and delicious. If you like pasta, try the gnocchi, it is my wife’s favorite. I am not sure how many times we have boughta round for the staff (which you can do for only $20) because the service is always great. It is a great sign as a customer whenthe entire staff seems happy to be there! Read more

We love Beuchert’s! Katie, one of their servers, is the best - super kind, gives great wine suggestions and just an all... around, down to earth great person. The food is unmatched - there are a lot of pubs on the hill but this is the best. Tonight wehad their Szechuan shrimp, duck pie and bucatini and everything was superb. And the atmosphere is perfect - low light, darkwood. 10/10 Read more

Our first time dining here and we will definitely be back to check out more of their menu. The food and cocktails were amazing... (pictured - seared rockfish, roast chicken breast, and lion’s tail cocktail). The only con was that we waited a long time forour drinks, but they noticed before we mentioned anything. Nonetheless, we had a very pleasant experience. Read more
