Reviews for Alvaro's Mexican Food in St. George, UT
Got the bacon breakfast burrito last time I went and it made me pretty sick. The bacon was undercooked (basically raw). I?ve had... mixed reviews with Alvaro?s, some times have been good and other times awful. It?s a roll of the dice. Read more
I used to love this place it?s hours are very convenient for a graveyard shift worker like me. But something happened to the... staff or quality control. I used to order nothing but the bean and cheese burrito. Simple and cheap. But every time I?d order itin recent memory it was cold enough the cheese hasn?t melted or my instance on no onions was ignored. So i switched to thecarne asada burrito I love how meaty it is and it?s pretty good. But still the staff either can?t hear or doesn?t care becausemy request for no onions is never honored. Then when I had my wife return the messed up order they claimed called my wife a liar(not their exact words). And when I got my new order it still had onions but I was to exasperated to try and fix it again. Read more
Great food!! but I ordered a fish burrito and got home 15 miles away and find that I?ve got a breakfast burrito. ???? Way to... crush my craving I had been looking forward to! Dang. Plus there?s stuff in the breakfast burrito I can?t eat. Read more
Don?t get the carne asada fries burrito. It seems like they can make a carne asada burrito fine, but if you ask for fries in it,... they really have no clue how to make that because it sucks every time. Read more

Alvaro?s Mexican Food was just ok. The food was bland and needed salt. The salsas also had little flavor. The portion size were... good and the overall ingredients were good. Just lacked flavor. The service was great! Friendly and fairly quick. Read more
A very good local Mexican Food restaurant. Stopped here because the name came up as a ?must try? for visiting St. George.... Honestly, not bad! The restaurant is clean and has an expansive menu. While I prefer to go for ?the popular item everyone gets?it seems like everything on their menu gets purchased frequently and people like it. Reviews for this restaurant are mixed. It?s not the best Mexican food that I?ve had, but it tastes clean, moderate pricing, good serving size. It?s satisfying, especially if you?re craving some tacos or a burrito. Definitely worth the stop. I reviewed a couple of their burritos, including the popular Carne Asada Burrito. Read more
