I was there this past Friday 9/2 for the Amish Outlaws concert and had a good time. Local beer prices are reasonable, pizza was... tasty and staff is friendly. The stage isn?t in the best spot but there?s room around it so people can dance. The $20 cover wasa little high in my opinion but other than that I enjoyed everything. Read more
The Cubano sandwich was yummy, got slaw instead of fries, slaw was spoiled. The board the sandwich was served on was broken,... cracked and gross, the 'board' presentation needs to be retired! Music by The Black Cross Band is awesome! Best part of thisplace, the band! Not a great view of the band though, the stage is way up above the entire seating area. Bad placement of thestage. Food smelled amazing as it was delivered to another table which prompted my ordering of the same dish (Steak platter) and my... awesome dinner companion ordered the chicken quesadilla. My steak platter was lacking in flavor and the steak was a horriblecut. Very very chewy and rubbery. When I was asked how everything was I explained it to the woman who asked and she apologizedbut did nothing to offer to correct or replace it. Each person who asked me how my meal was got the same rendition, includingthe manager, no one offered to replace the meal even early on. The quesadilla was excellent and I wish I would have had that.Visited before the new owners and experience was 1 to 2 stars at best. This new ownership did awesome with the revamp. Just needa better cut of meat and might want to consider making it right for the customers who might not be happy. Service was overallreally good. Moderately priced and a awesome atmosphere.. I?ll give ?em another shot. 6/20 (update): Service started out slowand I had to ask a few times for sweetener for our drinks. Ended out great. Had the Droughthouse Burger? (Holycrap, awesome)finally found a local place that serves an awesome burger. She had a Plain Jane. (She enjoyed it as well. I will enjoy the otherhalf tomorrow for lunch). If only they could get more help to round out their new place? Very very impressive? Not much formaking things right though when they fall short. Can?t have it all I guess. This is a big spacious place with plenty of seating! There is a big parking lot so parking is no issue. I have never been here... before, I am not from up that way, but the next time I go up That way I will certainly be back! There was a lot of differentfood options and beer options. The portions are solid and the price is on par for the times we are living in. I always have tocheck out the wings whenever I am in a new place, and they didn?t disappoint! The cherry coke bbq wings really hit the spot. Itwas not until we were leaving that we noticed an outside seating area out back where they have an actual boat as a bar! The nextI am certainly going back there to hang out! This place here is a breath of fresh air from all of the chains that are trying totake over. Read more
Had a great time with friends here eating and drinking at the outside patio. It was hot hot hot, but under their covering it... was very comfortable. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed a range of nice appetizers, beers and cocktails. I had thebiggest pours of beers in my flight that I think I had ever experienced and I loved them all. Our entrees were all good and weleft with full bellies. The inside dining area was quite large, but we only stayed outside. Most definitely recommend! Read more
We hosted a family event for 19. The manager Jess was very responsive to our calls, emails and on site visits. They listened to... our vision and expectations for this (our first full family event) and executed the set up, serve and food flawlessly. On thenight of our dinner, the restaurant was very busy. The pre ordered appetizers were delivered on time at the start of the eventand were delicious. Our server (Anna) was supported by 3 other staff members so dishes were cleared quickly, drink refillsreturned fast. Great job Anna! Our off the menu ordering allowed us to order exactly what each of us wanted for dinner. I chosethe filet medium rare and was not disappointed. Cooked perfectly, excellent taste. Based on feedback from the family, thekitchen did a great job handling the food for our group while the main restaurant and bar were busy. We attended the 2pm Thanksgiving Buffet seating. The dining area was a large sunroom with 12 ft between tables. There was no... wait and no delay to be seated and begin the meal. The high ceiling and privacy of the of the room from the rest of therestaurant minimized the background noise for the seniors in our group. This was a perfect environment for what our group neededto be perfectly comfortable at the holiday meal. Read more
