I love this market and would give them 5 stars but communication on hours is really flawed. They have a website but apparently... only update on Facebook which I'm not a fan of! Also they have flyers in their window but that's not helpful until I drivethere. I don't begrudge people vacation, but update ALL your sites so we aren't disappointed, please! You are a business withwhat could be loyal customers. Read more

The owner and staff are all so nice, anytime we see them out and about or in the store they are so welcoming and friendly. We... have never had any bad food from there. We have got lunch multiple times before and everyone at our work rants about it. It isfantastic. I wish I was closer so we could get it more than once in awhile. The store has such unique food my husband and Ienjoy going in to look around too! Read more

Picked up lunch at this quaint Italian market with deli inside - beautifully displayed products and friendly service. We ordered... two sandwiches with a cannoli about 15 minutes ahead of time and it was ready when we got there. The Italian BLT with tomatoMayo that I had was perfectly toasted. The cannoli was fresh and classic. Would go again. Read more

A little taste of The Hill in Washington! I can't believe something this good is in Washington and not in STL -- it deserves... recognition from Feast Magazine for sure. If you haven't been, you are seriously missing out. This place is the most authenticItalian Market/Deli I've ever been to. From homemade cookies, lasagnas, sauces, sausages, the creme brulee -- GUYS, THE CREMEBRULEE. It's to die for. Even their salads and salad dressings are incredible. I'd say the #9 Peppino is my absolute favoritesandwich -- it has so much flavor -- even their meats are seasoned perfectly. Whatever you order is the right choice. Theircustomer service is outstanding as well. They make you feel like family, and they're knowledgeable about most everything in thestore so if you're not sure what you're looking for, their suggestions won't steer you wrong. Read more

So glad to have found this place. The sandwiches were fantastic! Very large and tons of meat and toppings. Actually split the... sandwich and that was more than enough. The pastries were also very nice and fresh. Best lunch stop we had on vacation. Read more

Two days ago I got to pass by this place by accident. I was picking up some cookies next door @fairytalecookie co. But when I... saw the name I thought to myself that I have to go in and try something. Sadly ?for me? most of their sandwiches had pork in it.And I don?t eat pork. So the next best thing was dessert. I bought two kinds, the Teramiso. It was light and the lady fingerwere soaked. For me it needed two thing to stand out a little sweetness and more coffee flavor. Over all it?s not bad but I wanta great fan. The second item was their crème brûlée. Now this is a dessert that I can go back (45min drive) and get it. Thelady over there torched the top part with the sugar on it. And when I went back home, all I needed to do is place it in some hotwater to warm the bottom part and it just tasted amazing. On top of all that, the service was great, the ladies there were veryhelpful and super sweet and nice. If you?re around and haven?t tried them, you should. Read more
