Staff is great, but the food is not worth the price point. The pasta was very middle of the road. The ceaser was more brown than... I was comfortable, and it wasn't just the mushrooms (by the way, they throw off the flavor profile). Also the dressing was verybland. Read more

I have never liked the food here. It's definitely not the worst food in the world, but it's always lacking that spark that... makes food great. I tried giving them another chance last night, and for the first time in years I placed an order, only becausethe place I wanted to order from was closed for vacation. My roommate & I ordered a large pepperoni mushroom & bacon pizza, myfirst complaint is the canned mushrooms that they piled on. Canned mushrooms are funky, especially when they're piled onto athin crust pizza, it made the dough mushy. Even Domino's uses fresh mushrooms on their pizzas. There's no excuse for arestaurant with the kind of reputation that Aldo's has to be using funky canned mushrooms! My minor complaints are: too muchcheese overpowering the crust & sauce, too much flower on the bottom of the crust, and even though the crust has char marks fromthe oven, which should indicate a crispy pizza, the whole thing was soggy. It was a let down, but not a surprise... this isalways the experience that I have with their food. The salads are bad, too! OMG if you haven't been here you are missing out on some amazing food the dough recipe fantastic, the sauce fresh and mozzarella... melting together bursting with flavor it was party for my mouth. And the pasta was amazing along with the risotto creamy richwith flavor I enjoyed every bite. Read more
My hamburger look like something that was frozen in the factory and it was pink and mushy in the middle. My wife spaghetti was... maybe an eighth cup of sauce on three cups of noodles. Each of these meals were 10 to $11. The kids chicken strips were also ofa very low quality. This is a shame I used to eat here a lot back in the day and this is not the quality I expect for the price. Read more
Far more than a pizzaria, Aldo's offers pastas, salads, risotto, and many standard Italian dishes. The dining area is very open,... bright, and roomy. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was prompt and pleasant. As a bonus, their lunch specialsare an incredible value -- $5.75 for small dish of lasagne and a salad (at the time of this review). Read more
