Love Vince and Joe?s but lately every time I have visited in last couple of months they have been out of lunch meat I buy and... have ?taken a break? from their gluten free bakery items. I have stopped at the ?help? desk and asked about it. I was told thatthey are short handed so have moved the person who does their gluten free items elsewhere. I am only able to eat gluten free andhave loved their gluten free variety. Now I will have to start looking elsewhere.???? Ok, I give up! I posted the above reviewand received a text back telling me to contact the manager with my concerns. I went to the store and asked to speak with themanager and was told he was busy. I spoke with a woman, I assume asst mgr., she told me the ?gluten free baker? was neededsomewhere else in the store. We discussed the fact that people like me who can only eat gluten free depend on those items. Sincethen, there have been no gluten free bakery items, fewer selections in entree items, still keep running out of the Boars Headcracked Turkey breast which is gluten free and also the So Delicious vanilla coconut milk yogurt which is also gluten free. Thiswent on all summer, remedied briefly in August after I talked with asst mgr, but has been ongoing since then. Also, the kiosksfor ordering from the deli are not working more often than working. It?s a shame because I depended on filling my gluten freeneeds and visited the store at least 3 or 4 times a week. If you need ?regular? bakery items, there are always plenty ofchoices. They don?t take bakers away from that section of the store. Read more

During quarantine, I spent a lot of time at home just like everyone else. I was sick and tired of going to the same grocery... store day in and day out, so I searched in my general area of stores that weren't Kroger, Meijer and more like Nino's. I came upwith Vince and Joe's Gourmet Market, so off I went! Walking in, this place is quite nice and well maintained. As otherreviewers have commented, it's similar to a Nino Salvaggio's with setup, price points and offerings. I've been here many timessince my initial visit, despite it being about 10 miles from my home. Produce is plentiful, well displayed and prices arecompetitive but not exurbanite. Plenty of good stuff to choose from here. They have an amazing cheese selection, both oftraditional and custom cheeses. They also have a HUGE wine selection to choose from, even though I've never bought any fromhere. I will say, I do get a lot of stuff from their prepared food counter, which has a lot of variety to choose from. Theyhave a lot of good pasta salads, and some prepared dinners off in a cooler to the side. I like that they have this and it's nota Papa Joe's price point, but still seems to have a great quality about it. The meat and seafood counter is always well staffedwith tons of stuff to choose from. You can also purchase kabobs, premade hamburgers and a bunch of other good stuff. I alwaysstop by the bakery section to admire the cakes, cannoli's and other desserts that I believe they prepare onsite. Beautiful tolook at with a great variety of items available. I love coming here as I always seem to walk out with something or other aftercruising the store. Pricing here keeps me coming back along with a fabulous selection of items to choose from. You really can'tgo wrong here, and I will continue to shop here forever! Staff is also accommodating and helpful as well, which is always abonus when you are trying to find something. Read more

Love the pizza but the process to get it absolutely ridiculous. The staff is amazing but how they are required to process phone... & in person orders is extremely inefficient & frustrating. The employees aren't empowered by management to have a moreefficient process. There is a better way! Read more

This place has fresh, high quality produce and meats, plus baked goods. If I could give a rating for these things alone it would... be five stars. However, V & J also has the WORST customer service of any gourmet marketplace I have ever shopped at. Forinstance, I was there yesterday. I was the only customer at the deli counter and there were four women working there. They ALLcontinued to perform whatever tasks they were performing without acknowledging me once, even to say they'd be with me in amoment. After 10 - 15 minutes of this I began to think I was invisible, so I left without ordering any deli meat. Then I wentto the meat counter. I was one of seven people waiting with three young men working. Well, one young man. The other two weremilling about, walking into the back, sweeping, doing anything but waiting on customers. The one who was just standing aroundfinally took pity on me (after another 10 - 15 minutes) and asked if he could help me. So I was able to get meat at least. ThenI went to checkout and this was faster because there was just one person ahead of me. I greeted the cashier in a friendly way.She never once cracked a smile and appeared miserable. Which made two of us after this experience. I just moved to this areaand it would be nice if I could shop so close to home. But because of the terrible customer service I'll drive 15 minutesfurther to shop at the Nino Salvaggio's in Troy, where the customer service is top rate. Read more
