Reviews for Fred & Stilla in Washington, DC
The food was excellent! Vegan chili was good and the poutine was incredible. And Diana was a fantastic server! Very friendly... and accommodating with our dietary needs (what's gluten free? what has dairy?). She congratulated us multiple times on ourspecial occasion and made us feel at home :) This is a relatively new spot and a precious find - check it out beforereservations become scarce! Read more
The service is superb! The staff is extremely engaged and personable, very detailed oriented. The food quality is amazing, fresh... and consistent. We ate a few times here, both breakfast and dinner, and the food was just delicious. Last but not least, thedrinks at the bar are made to perfection! Salim, Jorge, Dana, and the entire management team of the restaurant really elevatedour hotel experience. Thank you! Read more

Modern designed hotel/restaurant in a historic neighborhood. We made reservations but stood in the lobby for several minutes... confused because there was no host. When we finally asked the bartender for a table we were seated. Ordered the 72 hr short riband the Bahamian red snapper. The food was underwhelming. The snapper and peas and rice were bland, and the peas and rice seemedreheated. The short rib and gravy were tender, but salty and otherwise unremarkable. The beer selection was small. All and all, typical for $100 for two in DC, unfortunately. Read more
