Good food and great service. Very friendly atmosphere. Greta, the bartender, is very personable and accommodating. We eat there... often. We ate at the bar and had a fabulous time talking with other patrons. It's definitely my go-to place for a great time!! Read more
This used to be a great restaurant when it was owned by the Bassett family. I always look forward to dining in RI when I visit... family. I was VERY disappointed. We were greeted by the waitress who told us they were out of baked potatoes and 3 other items.I ordered the chowder which was awful, greasy on top and the bowl should never have been used to serve anyone with a huge chip.The salad bowl was also missing a big piece. I attached photos for you to see. The atmosphere is no longer what it used to be.The decor is cheap mass produced artwork. The owner?s daughter had family members or friends seated next to us and was loudlytalking to them as if she were at home. my experience was so bad I will never eat here again. Read more
We gave ourselves a treat after early voting. I had the New England boiled dinner. My wife had the Chicken Francese with mashed... potatoes and mixed veggies. As always excellent service and almost instantaneous kitchen turn around. With the appetizer soup,and bread, enough food for you and a couple of hungry friends.
