I officiated a beautiful wedding that was held here and stayed for dinner with my husband. For appetizers we had the Confit Pork... and the Steak Tartare; both were absolutely delicious! Our entrées were the Filet Mignon, which was tender and flavorful, andthe Pan Seared Cod with stewed peppers which was absolutely perfect. The cocktails and wine are also sooo good: Port Fashioned,Sparkling Pear and Banana Cream Pie.. yumm! The owners are a lovely couple and all the staff are amazing people. The grounds are beautiful and the interior decor is tasteful. We stopped in for anaperitif on a cold February Saturday evening. The front desk is efficient and we were guided upstairs to a lounge room with anexcellent sound system in the ceiling (great music mix) and comfortable love seats with low cocktail tables. Our waiter wascordial and knowledgeable about the offerings. We had a cheese plate and a charcuterie platter and cocktails. Everything wasnicely presented and was delicious. As other reviewers have mentioned, the place is fully priced, especially for the area.Basically it?s Manhattan pricing. But it?s a quality experience, professional service in an elegant environment. They definitelytry hard to provide value for the cost. People seem to be responding, it was packed early on a Saturday evening inFebruary. Had a great experience for our first time dining here. The inn is beautiful, cozy and intimate. Our sever was very friendly. I... had the Beet Root salad and the Skillet Chicken and both dishes were delicious. My husband had the Shrimp Cocktail and theShort Ribs and he enjoyed both dishes very much as well. We were able to stop in for some brunch and looked forward to it. The food did not disappoint. Burrata, Steak and poached... eggs, no flour chocolate cake and the bloody mary (virgin more on that) and coffee. The service was well done, a young stafflearning, have patience - they did well. Ambiance was what I expected for our area, and it is a fantastic renovation. Theportions were spot on, the flavor profiles were spectacular, the steak was very very tender and the cake, while I am not adesert person was a perfect finish. The coffee was nice and strong, could ha e been hotter on a cold Sunday morning. TheBloody Mary is my weak spot and had the right amount of bite, heat and excellent finish. 5 years in the making, and the result is a beautiful. The restaurant has been open for 6 weeks. We had lunch in the main... dining room, there are several rooms, and outdoor areas where a table can be reserved for your dining experience. Service wasexcellent, the food... fantastic! We had the turnip appetizer, a malbec with my burger, and a merlot with the short rib pasta. Friendly and attentive service. The waitress gave us a tour of the various dining areas.
