We had such a fun time here - relaxed atmosphere with good food. The staff and owner were so nice - the service and personal... attention was great. We have been going to the Full Moon for 15+ years. We are local and it's like our Cheers. But the last ownership changed the... place. It became very nasty in there. So we were hesitant to try it now with this new owner. But we are GLADE we did. Jason hasmade the moon our cheers again. He has cleaned the place up. It looks great. The food is excellent. The staff is amazing. Veryfriendly, fast service. The horrible smell from before is gone. If you are like us and loved the moon for so many years try theSummer House at the Full Moon. They advertise blue crabs on a big banner outside. Went there specifically for the crabs. Didn't have very high expectations,... but hopeful. Very disappointed in the food and service. Walked in and told the bartender/waitress that we wanted to eat a mealat a table. She handed us a menu while we were just standing there - weird! We told her we were going to order steamed bluecrabs and corn. She said, "I think we're out of corn - let me check." Still standing there at this point so we sat down at thebar. After basically ignoring us we had to wave her down just to get her to brink us drinks and to find out they were out ofcorn (it was a Wednesday night and not even crowded). Our food was placed at a table and then we were told we could sit down -also weird that we weren't sat down at a table to begin with! The crabs were so small they were barely of legal size and hadhardly any meat. We also ordered steamed shrimp and fries. They were both barely warm. I would definitely not recommened thisbar for food unless you're not at all picky and don't have very high expectations. Used to be pretty good when it was theWashington House years ago. I love dive bars! Was working in the area and the boss took me out for drinks and said it was his favorite dive bar. Upon... arrival the boss was kinda upset because apparently the ownership had just changed and they actually cleaned it up and paintedand such, so it wasnt such a dive bar. . But after meeting the new owner and some of the locals i will definitely return. Madeus food after the kitchen was closed and my drink never got empty. Awesome place will defitntely be back Read more
