This was our first time eating at a restaurant in Aiken, Sc. My family was traveling and decided to stop here. I had curry... chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and a side of jerk chicken. My wife and son had wraps, and my daughter ordered sweet chiliwings with fries. I appreciate that our orders took some time to prepare. I assume the food is not sitting under a heat lamp forhours. The greeter/hostess was extremely friendly and patient with us. The food was delicious and hot. My wife did comment thatshe could use a little more meat in the wrap and less rice. Great takeout! Our family had the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, and oxtails, and all were delicious. The cabbage side was... yummy, as were the plantains (great to dip into the brown stew chicken). All the meals were served with rice with beans, and theportions were generous. My husband and I went on a joyride and found ourselves within 6 minutes of this gem and starving, so we decided to check it out,... and I am SO glad we did! I am a huge fan of Jamaican cuisine, so I tend to get it whenever it?s near. I?ve had quite a fewdifferent flavors and varieties, but this here Brown Stew Chicken was LIFE!! Absolutely amazing!! Today was my birthday and this Florida girl was missing the island foods I used to get so easily in... Florida. So as I was looking on door dash I came across this restaurant. Since I was able to go there I called and asked whatthey recommended for my first time. I took her recommendation and was not disappointed. I got Barbieri Chicken with rice/peasand festival.
