This has become one of my favorite lunch spots here by Warrenton... Their club sandwich is simply delicious! Great food, had Bacon cheese burger with fried egg on top, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, pickle on the side, with fries, and... black coffee. Ask for a little red/pink inside and came out just right. First time here. Got the country fried steak. My son got pancakes. Service is really good and so is the food. Parking is ample.... You are on 29 so going S after your meal may be a challenge. Ambience is great. Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Prices area tad high but you get what you pay for. Read more
We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were headed to Dulles via 29 and talking about where we should stop to eat. This was the... next place we saw and actually made a u-turn to go back and eat. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! Not only is it a very quaintrestaurant but the staff was super friendly and the food was even more delicious. The menu offers a mix of traditional Americanand Greek fare, but kicked up a notch. And bonus points for serving breakfast all day. The portions are very generous andfilling. My group ordered the fish tacos, fish Reuben, western omelet with a side of bacon and garden salad topped with grilledchicken. Not pictured are an order of buffalo wings which looked awesome. I have had this little cafe flagged on my want to go places for years and finally had the chance to drop by they had a special... for a fried green tomato blt with sweet potato fries!!! I?ve never had fried green tomatoes but on a blt was HEAVENLY!! I willcome back! Read more
Great appetizer sampler platter! But then...the dinner entrees were not good (country fried steak had zero flavor and the fish... fry was undercooked). Good server though. I hear breakfast is better. Read more
The CINNAMON BUNS are definitely homemade! The staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. The restaurant was beautiful and well... kept. The food was delicious and well prepared. I?m more of a breakfast person but dinner is also very tasty. Lots of availableparking. Not many gluten-free options for my gluten intolerant friends. Read more
"comfort food at its best" is the slogan as you pull in to this diner, and they are not wrong. The food here is in my top 5 of... American diner. Additionally, they do something i haven't seen and more places should do, "build your own breakfast". Choose 4of the standard breakfast staples and make it a meal, that way you aren't asking to substitute this or that. Half a portionhere is enough for a meal, but the price makes it feel like your getting bang for your buck. A meal can easily last a day if youportion it.
