Wife loves to go here to get out of the house and the food is always good. I always go for the hot sausage dog. The Burger Barn... was running when I was in HS, which was a far bit ago. I wish they would fix the building, as I feel it's hurts their businessfor out of towners. Read more

Just had a cheeseburger and onion rings and the best chocolate milkshake I?ve ever had. Locals know how great the food is here.... Non-locals pass right by cause it just looks like a hole in the wall. But my experiences have shown that places like this alwayshave the best food. Y?all visitors to Warren County, give the burger barn a try, after your first visit, you will stop by hereon all your future visits. Their great food & friendly staff are hard to beat! Read more

It's been years since I've been here. Service was great. Took less than 5 minutes for my food and it was good and hot. If... you're in the area...put this place on your list Read more

So I try the place based on it's proximity to work and it's rating on Google Maps. I order a double cheeseburger, chili-cheese... fries, and a vanilla shake. No shake; machine is down. Okay, no problem. I didn't get the vibe that anyone working inside wasparticularly happy to be there. They weren't hostile, they just weren't real friendly. It felt like me ordering was animposition on their time. There more people inside than out when I arrived (this is a stand, not a restaurant). Maybe threeorders before me. Yet I still waited nearly ten full minutes for my order, which considering the low volume (it was 1:45 in theafternoon, so after the lunch crowd) I thought was a bit excessive. So I finally get my meal, take it to my vehicle (no picnictables!?), and open 'er up. The chili cheese 'fries' are this insipid, luke warm mass of moist potato substance with chili andcheese sauces on top. I'm in the foodservice business and I can tell you that these fries were not fresh, were probably cookedat too low a temperature, then sat around awhile, and were packaged incorrectly (Packaging is the owners' fault; you don't puthot fries in a sealed container - especially if you're putting hot, moist sauces on top of them). So after the disappointing'fries' I was REALLY not looking forward to my burger. I thought it'd be two overcooked, over-pressed patties on a stale bun ifthe fry treatment was any indication. I was pleasantly surprised with a nice juicy offering made just the way I asked for it(lettuce, onions, mustard). The onions were diced and reasonably fresh so they still had bite to them, the lettuce I don'tremember so I guess it made no impression on me, and just the right amount of mustard. The bun too was fresh and delicious. Myonly critique is maybe put some salt and pepper on the patties. All in all, not too bad. In their defense I can't say what theplain fries with no sauce are like, but the chili cheese offering is insulting. Definitely come for the bu Read more
