I truly enjoy 4 brothers! I have had almost everything on the menu but my favorites are the whiting and grits, the salmon cakes,... fried okra, squash and green tomatoes. They also make really good French toast. I have never ordered anything that I didn'tenjoy. I have been coming to this since they've opened and I love it! Read more

Me and a friend dined here on a Sunday morning. It was a little too dimly lit for my taste . The two dishes we ordered were... superb. Grits were creamy. Only complaint I have is no salt and pepper shakers or cloth napkins. Ample parking. Read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. This weekend I finally was able to and I only wish I had done it long... before. You wait outside for them to seat you. Inside the dining area is really cozy, lit like a jazz club with soothingbluish light and one end of the room that is set up for live music. I asked the waiter for his recommendations because I wasn'tsure if I wanted to try the shrimp and grits or the chicken and waffles. He highly recommended the seafood. So I went with theBayou (spicy) Shrimp and Grits that comes with two eggs the way you like and a biscuit. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, thesauce was delicious and the grits were on point. The portion was substantial. The eggs were just the way I ordered them and thebiscuit was one of the best I have had (and I had recently been down south) and was on the large side. The music and lightingadded to make it an extremely relaxing meal. I was so impressed I knew I had to return soon to try the chicken andwaffles. So, this morning I went back even though I was just there yesterday. This time I asked my server which waffle herecommended the most (there are multiple options) and he immediately said the sweet potato one. So, I decided that was the wayto go. He asked me what kind of chicken I preferred which surprised me as the menu indicates specific parts with each waffle. Evidently, you can choose so I immediately said thighs. He smiled and said, that is what he would have chosen. When the platecame out I was stunned how large the thighs were. They were crispy and golden. The waffle looked perfect but was dwarfed bythe chicken. When I cut into the chicken, it was moist and tender while the breading was crunchy and not oily. It was probablythe best fried chicken I have had in a very long time. The waffle was moist inside and perfectly cooked. It was melt in yourmouth delicious with just a little butter added on top. Again, the recommendation was excellent. The food, Read more

Man what a hidden gem of a restaurant this place is. Very professional and friendly staff. Portions were very nice sized and... prices were excellent. I met the owner, very intelligent brother that knows how to burn in the kitchen. They have live musicon certain nights, wish we could've attended a performance. I look forward to going back here again, menu had some greatoptions, definitely gotta try the beef ribs and grits next time. Our food was superb, seasoned perfectly. Thanks for the greatexperience. My wife and I went for a late breakfast. Like the idea that they have you wait outside. Hostess acknowledged after a few moments... and found a table for us. I had the spicy shrimps and grits. The food was excellent, and loved the biscuits. My wife had thefried okra and the vegetable omelet. It was just enough and i am a big eater. Paul our server was great. Also, enjoyed the lifemusic.
