So we found this place driving by and said we need to try it out one day, well that day was a nice fall Sunday for lunch. When... we walked in we were greeted by a tank of water with bubbles continuously bubbling, it is as relaxing as it is beautiful. Theoverall decor and atmosphere was elegant but not too much. It was a very pleasing place to be seated in. Then we met the ownerArif, I hope that is the correct spelling, and he was a wonderfully charming fellow and very friendly. He was confident in thecuisine that they served and we couldn?t wait to sample their fare. She ordered a sample platter that included tandoorichicken, chicken tikka, chicken & beef shish kabob, and shrimp. This coupled with garlic naan was a fantastic choice to indulgein their many dishes. I ordered one of our favorites the butter chicken with rice and Daawat?s version did not disappoint! Ican?t rave enough about this absolutely terrific dining experience, the food, the atmosphere and the service was so fantasticthat we have decided that for Indian cuisine Daawat?s is going to be in our regular rotation. First of all, I was told on the phone it will take 40m to get my order ready. I asked the server politely that ?it?s okay you... can cancel my order? they called me back and said they will make it in 20m. I went in and end up actually waiting 40m for it. Iget it they were busy but still. I ordered chicken fried rice, it had no salt no taste what so ever. I also ordered a garlicnaan, never received it.. I had their food before and it was good.. I guess you wanna try their food when they?re slow cuz theywill not care when they?re busy.. Read more
