Reviews for Hawk Watch Winery in Warner Springs, CA
The wine tastes as good as this place looks. Stunning.
This place is a bit off the beaten path. When we arrived it seemed very rustic and back woodsy so I immediately had some doubts... about driving from Orange County to check it out. I was totally wrong. The owners were so nice, told us their story and abouttheir wines. The wine was fantastic. Really impressive. The views are great, and best of all it felt very intimate and non-corporate. It was a welcome retreat. I highly recommend you check this place out and have a great time like we did. Read more
We go there frequently and always love the wine. I can't go home without a bottle or two.
I had been here once before about a year ago and just did a quick tasting but this time I had a full tasting in every single... wine was top notch. This is a small place beautiful setting reasonable prices and great service. Read more
Good wine, great service.
Amazing Experience. I grew up in the Chihuahua Valley as a kid and it was awesome to come back up and enjoy an afternoon with my... Fiancée and try an amazing sampling of great wines. I'm not a wine person, but I enjoyed every wine I tried here. Veryaffordable, $15 per person plus tip, they bring the next sampling to where you're seated. Very great atmosphere, staff is superkind. Great place to come spend an afternoon, walk through the vineyard and just check out the storage building they have withall their wine barrels stacked. Easy to get to as well as it's right off the 79. Definitely will be back. Read more
We love the red wines at Hawk Watch! Mike and Lisa do such a great job. If you are looking to escape the hustle and crowds of... the Temecula wineries, this is the place to go! The view and setting is awesome! Read more
Having been to 30+ wineries in California I am in no perception an expert on anything. I'm not a sommelier, but have developed a... taste for what I think is good wine. What I can say is that you will not find a winery like this anywhere else. The wine youfind in Temecula is all a gimmick on covering the taste with sweetness or unexpected flavors and the experience you get is allabout the ambience and presentation. There are few wineries there that produce anything with real passion. Here you get towitness the fruits of labor from Mike and Lisa who own and operate this establishment. And the best part of this experience istalking to them and realizing that this is not their job but their passion. Good wine, good conversation and an honestpresentation of two people doing what they love is what you get here. Please don't ever change. Read more
