I don't normally comment on places, but in this case, it was obvious that management here needs some customer feedback about... their policies. First thing we saw was a sign posted on the front door "help needed servers, bus tables, kitchen, alldepartments". Very common and understandable in today's environment. So the wait was pretty long just to seat 2 people withthe place not being packed to capacity. We got seated after 20+ minutes then we started noticing that ALL the wait staff hadfrowns on their faces as if they were PO'd about something. They would hide the frown when talking directly to customers, butyou could tell they were forcing it. Then we began to notice a possible reason for that. Evidently management must havedirected them to not set the tables with normal silverware, napkins, salt shakers etc. Instead a bag of plastic utensils withsalt and pepper packet inside. Nothing else on the table. So as overworked as the wait staff was already, obviously 9 of 10customers are going to ask for napkins, a real fork, knife, condiments etc. They had to spend half their time running back andforth fetching stuff that would normally be expected on the table in a place that charges prices several dollars above theirnearby competitors with similar or superior quality and service levels. But food was good and our waitress was excellent. Except now I can understand why all the frowns on the wait staff's faces. So we are probably going to stick with El J's acouple miles down hwy 96 for the time being. Read more
Not a very pleasant experience ordering takeout! No hostess so the waitresses had to do it all,,and she made her feelings known... by letting us know that the service sucked today! No surprise there! We waited longer than the usual, for just one single order.I asked for no mushrooms and she said its you're lucky day,,,we are out of mushrooms. My dish was loaded with them. I paid cashand expected the exact amount of change,,when I confronted her she says,,,"oh,,we don't have coins" Really?!? Will NOT be goingback !! Read more
Love this place, food is good but this time I can honestly say we experienced the worst waitress ever. Here attitude was we... were her to please her. And if we requested something like a refill on drinks or more chips and salsa it really put her out. Worst part was we were in clear view if where she was sitting while on her phone and we actually had to flag down another waiterfor refills and ice. When she did bring me a refill it was just made hot tea with no ice. When I asked or ice she huffed of andnever returned. Again I had to ask another waiter for ice. Hopefully she won't last long, as she is deffinately a detriment tothis establishment. Maybe better luck next time. Read more

I ordered ground beef nachos, receipt can verify...got chicken instead. Ordered with Door Dash pickup and delivery. Called and... spoke with manager and was told that it wasn't their problem and to contact Doordash for a refund. I don't think so. Iunderstand that this might be the 'system', however the manager was less then stellar in her helpfulness and helping me with aresolution. Of note, I tasted the chicken nachos...they were not good. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant nor do Icommend their staff and manager for less then acceptable response. Read more

Ordered through door dash pick up. Was told that my order would be ready by 8:10 pm. My husband arrived at the restaurant at... 8:05 pm and let them know that he was there to get my order. Waitress was snobby and had a nasty attitude about checking on thefood for him. He said at the restaurant until 8:50 pm getting the run around when my food had been ready the entire time. Ifonly the waitress would have checked the orders instead of being rude, I would not have cold food and writing such a bad review. Read more
