The food was okay. I like that they give you the crunchy noodles to snack on like other places give bread. The waiter we had... definitely made the experience, though. He was very friendly and funny. Read more

Kwong Ming is hit and miss. Sometimes ok and sometimes awful. It's a lottery. The waiters never write anything down so it is... very easy to get the orders wrong. We eat here occasionally because it is nearby... but I'd never go out of my way to eat here.Of note, the fried rice is especially dry and bland. Probably the worst fried rice I have ever had in my life. Visited againtoday. This experience marked my last visit here. I will never return and I can't recommend anyone visit this place. A waitertook our order who had no grasp of English though he pretended he did. The result was he got both orders wrong. Because we sawhim struggling we reiterated our order no less than 4 times. We were served the wrong dishes. I sent mine back. My coworkerstruggled through his. His meal literally looked like puke. I will attach an image. It was supposed to be shrimp w/garlic sauce(what he received - not what he ordered). Having rejected my meal I was billed for the egg roll and soup I ate and $3.75 for 6ounces of soda in a tiny cup packed with ice. Yes $3.75, the cost of a six pack for less than 6 ounces of soda. My tiny bowl ofsoup was over $8. It was less soup than I received in soda. This place is done. Don't waste your time or money here. I'mcertain the location has a dollar store in its future. I can not believe this place is still around - the longevity of it should be a huge sign of how good the food is. Kwong Ming was... there when I moved to Wantagh in 1981!! It hands down ruined all other Chinese-American restaurants for me. I still yearn fortheir amazing egg rolls and crispy noodles. Read more

A family member recommended this place as he's been going there most of his life. A friend from out of town came in we went... there and I was not impressed. Had the general Tao Chicken which is supposed to be crispy and spicy. It was overly sweet and thesauce overly thick with no hint of spice and not crispy at all. I will seek something better in the future. The restaurant wasempty it was lunch time, the service was great. Read more

Always enjoyed their food until today dnt Like giving negative reviews but for the price paid i feel I have to. Ordered... lunch specials. Beef w/oyster sauce. Was the saltiest I ever had. Had to throw it out. Had 2 orders of boneless ribs. Theywere burnt and hard they also went in garbage. Fir the prices they charge I expect it to b at least good Drive 20 mins forthis. I will have to stick with local take out places. Read more

Kwong Ming is a traditional Chinese restaurant delivering delicious foods. Their eggrolls are supersized, crispy, and tasty. The... Pork Fried Dumplings had a buttery dough with ample filling. My favorite was the sticky barbecue ribs. The cut was meaty, thesauce a sweet glaze that packs great flavor. These will be a must order every time we dine here! We have two entrees accompaniedby delightful pork fried rice. The Chick Chow Fun was perfect. The wide rice noodles were fully coated in flavor and the chickenpounded lean also absorbing the savory dark soy-based sauce. Green onions added color and freshness. Their Cashew Chicken wasprepared in a rich brown sauce mixed with mushrooms, green peas, red peppers, and sauteed chicken and crisp cashews. Tea wasplentiful and rounded out our delightful meal. The restaurant was spotless and large enough to accommodate guests practicingsocial distancing. Read more

Kwong Ming is a pretty good spot for Chinese food. It's not my favorite to be honest. It feels kind of middle of the road for... americanized chinese food. I think that if you want Chinese food there are better choices around. I wish I could say that isabove average because many people in Wantagh regard it as great Chinese food but it's just not that good. Nothing really standsout. Maybe they like it because there is a bar or something? Either it's gonna be a while before I order from here again. Read more

Large dining room. This is your father's Chinese restaurant from the 1960s, right down to the choose from column A and column B... on the menu. The staff was attentive and quick. The portions are huge. My wife and I both brought home half of our meals. The egg rolls are enormous. The wonton soup was in an interesting dark broth. They feature light sauce with the. Egg fooyoung. Meaty and moist chicken wing appetizers. Shrimp and lobster sauce had large fresh shrimp. The fried rice looked verypromising with a good color and lots of ingredients, but sadly the flavor was not quite the old 196os flavor fried rice. Interestingly, everything tasted better the next day after reheating, especially the egg rolls, which benefitted from theapricot sauce. I don't usually put that on my egg rolls, but these needed it due to a slightly bitter undertaste. Read more
