What a gem in Wanakena. Food is always fresh and delicious. Great selection of vegetarian options. Price point can't be better

Stopped in for breakfast after we were all packed to leave. Had French toast and a veggie Eggs Benedict. They looked so good and... we were so hungry we ate before I even thought to take a picture. Excellent breakfast and conversation after finishing the CL50! If you're doing the CL50 fit this place into your plans for a... meal or just driving Route 3 it's only a couple mins and worth the stop. And they also have wifi to check in with the world ifyou want to! Read more

This was the best hidden gem we found on our trip to the Adirondacks! What a lovely cafe. Suzie, the owner, chatted with us... and was wonderful. She got me to try MUD/WTR and it was great. Eggs Benedict were great with the recommended turkey sausage. My son loved the french toast with apple caramel. Suzie gave us an appetizer of the salted caramel rice crispies and had to buya bunch to take with us. A beautiful little shop there as well. I hope we get to go back soon! For Latinx people is not easy to travel to places you don't know well. Me and my husband stayed in the airbnb next door and ate... several times at the restaurant. It was a great experience, the owners of the restaurant are really friendly and open tovisitors. The food is amazing, they put a lot of thought into their business and it shows. I cannot recommend Black Waters Cafe enough. We were hungry for real food after backpacking three nights around Cranberry Lake... in May, and we could not have picked a better spot. Lunch was excellent and the owners and staff were incredibly friendly andgenerous. We even made great company with the neighboring booth. I look forward to returning in the future! Read more

We were camping at Cranberry Lake and wanted to get breakfast locally. We are so glad we did!!!! This comfy little place was... INCREDIBLE!!! We?re 6.30 hours away and I want to go back just for this place alone!! The food was excellent!! The staff is sofriendly! I wish I would have gotten their names. I love this place and every time I?m around there I will be sure to stop inand chat and eat!!! If you?re in the neighborhood this is a can?t miss destination!!!! The food is outrageous!
