We celebrated our daughters 21 birthday at the Bistro today - everything was great! Its a warm friendly place, the food was... awesome and our waitress Raven rocked! We were a party of 9 and everyone pitched in. We didn?t need to ask for anything - theywere right there the entire time, happy to help, refill or whatever without being on top of you. Spacious Black-owned restaurant. Romantic low-light atmosphere. Delicious flavorful food. Steak & Cheese egg rolls were... generously stuffed with shaved steak and just the right amount cheese and a dipping sauce that takes a simple roll to anotherlevel! Steak cut bacon was tasty with a sweet glaze, topped jalapeños are just for presentation as it wasn't spicy but if wantthat kind of kick, go ahead and cut into the peppers. Huge menu, so many delicious dishes to choose from! I got the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict and it was so good! I also tried... my sisters steak and cheese egg rolls and can recommend them along with the red sangria and espresso martini! Delicious meals, fast friendly service on a Wednesday evening. Dined outside with regular plates and flatware but plasticware... for all beverages. I requested and received a Brussel sprouts in lieu of zucchini in my pasta Primavera. Salad menu is verylimited -iceberg lettuce - but many choices for proteins. Reasonably priced for Waltham. We had lunch outside where the town had blocked off traffic. The restaurant was a great choice! I had a cheeseburger, the fries... were great, yay! We also ordered some tacos and they were kind enough to do a Mac n cheese for one of our kids. The waitstaff,Raven, was super and nice! Thanks! Read more
Both times that I've been here both the service and food have been fantastic! The drinks are fun and creative. I got the fish... tacos for both occasions and loved them each time. Great spot in Waltham. Read more
Great restaurant! I got the duck breast, it tastes really nice and the appetizer I ordered sweet cornbread, fantastic!
