I have been coming here (starting when they were in Pleasant Hill) for 15 years and they are just as good now as they were then.... I have never had a bad dish ever! Read more

Orinda. My friend and I went in for our favorite lunch, Walnut Prawns which had a mayonnaise based sauce on shredded lettuce we... picked the dinner portions. They offer a lunch portion dishes with small salad, soup and choice of rices or chow mein that aretasty and filling at good prices depending on what you pick as entree. We also tried another dish called Hong Kong style chowmein that had thin crispy egg noodles with pieces of BBQed pork, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, one being bock choy. It isdelivered like a nest of crispy noodles with veg and meats on top. When served he portioned off sections, dip down bringing thiswonderful tasting sauce up and over the "nest" so you had both crispy and sauced noodles. Loved it!. Had the pot of tea butthere are sodas and other drinks. On Mondays they are closed for indoor eating but meals to go are just as yummy with ease ofordering and pick up. The staff is pleasant, attentive, food service is quick. Nicely decorated dining area. Really a greatplace to enjoy lunch and dinner alone or with groups of friends. Read more

Honestly the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Waitress was rude when I asked her to describe a dish because the menu... didn't have a description and seemed offended that we didn't want to take our leftovers home. Lo and behold, I receivedsomething completely different from what I was expecting. I ordered the Deluxe Pan Fried noodles. I received a crispy disk ofnoodles with large chunks of vegetables and 6 pieces of shrimp covered in a brownish, watery "sauce". The more I ate it, thesicker I felt. The dish was indescribably bland and tasted like nothing. No one in our group was able to eat beyond a fewbites. Stay away from this place. Read more

Sichuan is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan Province. This style of food has bold flavours, particularly the... pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavour of Sichuanpepper. Sichuan House offers a full menu of spicy specialty dishes. Most Chinese restaurants serve Cantonese style dishes whichare milder. I recommend trying -Spicy Combo Hot Wok -Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup -Spicy Boiled Fish -Hotpot Beef in PickledCabbage -Tan Tan Noodles with Beef Go outside the box and give Sichuan House a try. You will not bedisappointed. -renaygarseeya Read more
