So homey and delish. I love all the attention to detail in the food and the restaurant. Even the water is flavored with cucumber... and lemon, so refreshing. Easy to walk to and they have outdoor seating. Looking forward to coming back for dinner with myfriends and try their cocktails. Read more

That's place is a great spot in walnut creek to get some amazing food. The pot pies are awesome as well as the starters. We... got the carnitas pie and the spicy chicken pot pie for dinner. The carnitas was perfect and the spicy chicken was great andactually spicy! Make sure to have them add on cheese and a fried egg on top to finish it off. This is a great restauranteveryone should try out. ???? Read more

First time at the Chicken Pie Shop, but not my last! Brought my sister in law, here for lunch. We shared the pork belly and... edamame starters - delicious!! The sauce for the edamame was amazing, and had a nice spice kick. We shared/sampled three of pies- the all meat chicken, the beef short rib and carnitas. We enjoyed them all, but the beef and carnitas were our favorites. Ihad the margarita and SIL had the black violet cocktail. Read more

Not very busy, but waited about 45 minutes for our order. We would have liked to eat at the restaurant but the waitress had so... much perfume on, it made me kinda sick to my stomach. We got it to go. I ordered the Guinness pie with vegetables. It does notlook like any of the other photos posted. Small and oblong and missing the top crust. It was under seasoned. The dough neededmore cook time. The veggies were fresh but also needed salt. I may have just been so put off by the perfume that it ruined myappetite. Others in our party said it was ok. Reheated it in the air fryer. The crust was a little better but I am not sure whatpart was made with Guinness. It was made from shredded meat (a roast of some kind). The white sauce/gravy was tasteless, notsure what it was. The menu said it was made with chunks of steak, mushrooms, potatoes and peas. The only thing named in mine wasone pea. No steak chunks, no mushrooms, no potatoes. Disappointing. Read more

Pretty disappointing! Went in to see if the Creme Brûlée was up to par. No it wasn?t. The creme was smooth but the carmelized... crust was way too thick and it had uncarmelized sugar sitting underneath. A lot of uncarmelized sugar. The Margherita Flat Breadwas Bland to say the least. Canned tomato paste sauce, I think the shriveled up things were the basil-maybe, cheese was verysparse. If my grandchild made it I would find it acceptable but a ?cook? made this! Crab cakes-a no show. They weren?t in stock. The Bread Pudding was okay in the center. The ends were dried out. Microwaved too long? The classic Burger was good as was thedrink (although the ice cube was nearly the size of the glass it was served in. One thing that did stand out was the iced waterthey serve. That was really good. Also the waiter was very nice. Sad because I could have found better things to spend $70 on. Read more
