I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place multiple times and it just keep getting worse. Tonight, I ordered two... orders of enchiladas w/out onions. Of course, both came w soooo many onions. We were extremely explicit about not having onionsand therefore were extremely disappointed. In general their service and quality of food has gone down. At least the drinks weregood. Read more

Reserved a table for 9 to celebrate my daughter and her boyfriend receiving their white coats.it was a very special evening for... both families. The service as well as the food was above average. The server (I believe his name was Carlos) went way above andbeyond to make this a special night for them. He was attentive, and all of the employees seemed to pitch in and assist. It wasan extremely busy night in Walnut Creek due to a play that evening. The food was delicious. We had a couple of vegetarians, achild, and other adults. Everyone was satisfied. The chips and salsa were great and bottomless. The appetizer fundito wasdelicious. Fajitas, tacos, tamales, and kids burrito - all wonderful. The drinks were great as welll. I would highly recommendthis restaurant in this quaint little town. Muy bueno! Read more

Came here for Cinco De Mayo and the visit was crazy to say the least, I got the unlimited Margueritas and the chips and salsa... and guacamole, the margs were good and the chips and salsa was alright but the guacamole came with a fancy chip that was superstale and kinda nasty, ghe guacamole itself was good though but not the fancy circle chip it comes with. Overall it was superpacked and took forever to get our orders, also there is only one bathroom that is shared and the line to use it was super longand many people walked elsewhere to go relieve themselves..... (there's an alley outside to the right a bunch of people wereusing the wall to go haha) It was a fun and lively atmosphere and the staff was all friendly. Make sure to get a reservation ifyour going for a holiday though ???? Read more

The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. However, my service was lacking. My server seemingly forgot about me because... she did not check on me unless I waved her over. There was a gentleman who asked how I liked my food which I really appreciated. He was great. Read more

The food was good about the wait and service was terrible. One hour to get a table, and took more than one hour to prepare 3... tacos. I think they forgot to put our order and when I complained after 45 mins they put the order in. May be their service isbe better for lunch or less crowded hours. They don't answer the phone to take reservations, you may be able to reserve onlinefor the next day. Read more

Great food, great vibes, great drinks. This is authentic Mexican food! The flavor is there in all their dishes, the customer... service is okay. If you during peak hours expect to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes for your food and for it to get cold beforeyou finish. Start your meal off with nachos and a raspberry margarita (however they brought me a strawberry even after I askedto verify I was getting raspberry) Then make your way to the steak tacos or sopes (the sopes are appetizers so they are not thefull size sope). The quesadilla was big so you could definitely share. The portions vary. The tacos come with a good amount ofmeat. The molcajete was disappointing. I wanted the meat and shrimp to have more flavor but it didn’t. The guacamole isn’tthat good either. On Sunday afternoon they had a live dj which played great music (English and Spanish). We noticed that theyhave two different menus, one left out several dishes so if you don’t see the protein bowls then you have the shorter menu. Our table got both so I don’t think it changes depending on the time. Remarkably mediocre (to below average) food. First off, Is it not standard that chips and salsa be served at a sit down Mexican... eatery? At roughly $15-20 per person, this food leaves a lot to be desired. You leave hungry, disappointed at the price, andhonestly the flavor is nowhere near as good as your local taco truck that is putting out $2 tacos worth coming back for. Theservice was forgettable (like literally they forgot about us and never refilled a drink until after the meal was done), the foodwasn’t good, they were out of some of the meat choices, and the prices were ridiculously high. Everything good about Mexicanfood is neglected at this restaurant. I will say, the plate presentation is amazing. But focus on good food before you spend somuch time on presentation. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig, and honestly made the meal that much more disappointing. Mycarne asada torta tasted like a bad Philly cheesesteak. It certainly wasn’t a torta worth $14 or whatever the price was. Therice was great, but at $4 for a side, it was pathetically small. Rice is like 15¢ a cup. It’s okay to serve a decent portionwhen you charge $4. Overall, pick something better Walnut Creek has to offer. If you want Mexican, stick to a local mom and popjoint that is grilling up authentic taco truck style food for cheap. Read more
