Deeelicious! The meatloaf was AMAZING. The biscuits were amazing. The veggies were all good. The chocolate cake was well worth... it. Wish the chicken gravy was a little more flavorful. I've had better fried chicken but it was good. And everyone working wasso pleasant, timely, and hard working including the owner who was out there on floor serving us. It was a GREAT visit! Located in a "hide-a-way" place in the country, menu changes based off the day, which allows the serving of food and checkout to... be faster, as everyone gets the same meal options. Meats and vegetables brought to the table with refills available uponrequest. Home cooked food in a restaurant with a grandma's house setting. Friendly staff, was greeted by the owner while waitingto be seated, which was less than 2 minutes wait. Desserts are also homemade daily, arrive early before they are gone. The slaw?is like something I?ve never had before?delicious?the south is known for their slaw but this recipetotally beats them all! Adequate fare. Nothing really outstanding. Fried chicken and bbq chicken both had less flavor than I would expect. No biscuits,... but some "cake" of sorts, dryer and less flavorful. So so good! We live nearby and had driven by this place but never tried it. Had such a great experience here today. Preset All... you can eat style that they bring out on carts. Such a casual home style feel. The owner was so friendly and introduced herselfand made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back.
