This homemade ice cream was really good! The staff was very friendly and patient with me while I made my selection.... Unfortunately they are not sampling right now because of Covid, but I would have loved to try some of the flavors that theyoffered. The churro was also very good. Read more

The big fad now is to eat ice cream that's full flavor and fresh ingredients because honestly, if you're going to eat dessert,... you might as well eat the real deal. Polar Puff, is the real deal. Tucked away in a strip mall, it might be easy to miss, butplease don't. They have tons of flavors, all of which are unique and fun. Not only that, but they have awesome looking bowls, like churro bowls and Oreo pie crust bowls. The scoops are also massive. Like, thought they gave me the "two scoop" menu itemmassive. Let's talk flavors. I'd give you the group favorite, but the problem is they were all favorites. Cookie butter tastedliked biscoffs in ice cream form, the banana pudding had pieces of nila wafer in it, and the ube was tasty. I loved the Oreopie crust bowl, but just know that it's more of a soft cookie crust as opposed to crispy if that's what you're looking for.Think of it as an Oreo cookie that you dunk in milk for 30 seconds. Did I mention yet that the scoops are massive? This mightbe the best ice cream in Walnut, I just wish I was in town for another week to try all the flavors out. Read more

Local ice cream / dessert stop in the plaza across the Mt Sac campus. Parking is available in the shared small lot - cars come... in and out all the time, so you shouldn?t have an issue getting a spot. They?re currently open during covid for takeout (nooutdoor or indoor seating options). Credit cards are accepted. You pick your ice cream flavor and container (ie cup or for anadditional charge, waffle cone (75 cents) churro bowl, or mochi waffle). There are drinks available as well. Afterwards you payat the counter and then they?ll prep your ice cream. I was super impressed by the creaminess and taste of the ice cream. Therewere a variety of flavors, including ube, morninga, and Thai ice tea. There were dairy free options available. It was ~$6 for myice cream with a cone, but well worth it since they gave me a large scoop of ice cream. Overall, a really yummy option fordessert in Walnut. Read more

About a 15 minute wait for the mochi cone. Was hot and delicious! Paired with dragon fruit cheesecake and banana pudding ice... creams. Very creamy ice cream and not incredibly sweet(in a good way). Definitely come here if you love unique flavors andunique ice cream holders! The girl running the shop was very helpful. I will be back! Read more

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened, and now I'm a regular for their Wednesday $2.50 scoops. Their ice-creams... are creamy, not so sweet, and just perfect for a sunny (or even rainy) day. All their ice creams are made with simpleingredients, even classics like vanilla, strawberry, & chocolate. I especially love their moringa, cookie butter, & dragonfruit. They even have vegan, dairy-free, and sorbet flavors for anyone with specific allergies. My husband, daughter, and myselfcannot finish our individual scoops, so we get the 4-scoop sampler to try the different flavors. The sampler scoops are smaller,so they're perfect for us. They also have games like Jenga on the tables to keep us entertained while we finish our yummy icecreams. Definitely try this spot out, you won't be disappointed. Read more

Polar puff is such a gem as far as ice cream goes. They have different flavors that other more common shops won't have. (So if... you're a flavor adventurer. This place is for you.) Each day of the week has a special all it's own. So you won't miss apromotional period. Ever. I love their vegan and dairy-free options. The puff cones are to die for! Even though it's a littleout of our way, I always try to bring my friends down to this place. It's a great treat. Read more
