Business traveler looking for a quick lunch. Upon entering I honestly did not have high hopes. I was wrong. Don?t let this place... fool you. Had two plain slices and a can of Diet Coke for $6.50. I used to work in New Haven by Wooster street a long time ago. We would often get lunch from a deli nearby, and I would always... get their chicken cutlet sub. It was absolutely amazing... the bread was perfect, the cutlet was like crack, and the whole thingwas overall large and perfectly balanced. Unfortunately, they've since closed and I have been on a quest for a chicken cutletsub of equal perfection ever since. I've tried just about every place you can think of in and around Wallingford, especiallyduring the pandemic where Uber and Doordash became my lifelines. We drive by this new pizza restaurant everyday on the way to work and decided to try it the other day. Nice thin pizza with a... crust to die for. They also bake fresh bread and we were lucky enough to get it right out of the oven. Pure heaven! Old ColonyPizza is our new go-to pizza joint hands down.
