I am giving a 3 rating as I have been here in the past and it's always been a fair spot to eat. However, my trip last weekend... was not all that great. The server seemed rushy and impatient, and do not, DO NOT order the donair from here.. I'm not sure whatthey use for donair meat but it was like nothing I've ever seen, very small pieces, dry and tasteless..I got through about halfof it before feeling I'll and throwing the rest in the trash..fish and chips is where it's at with this resturant! I had the east coaster. It was good. My friend had the mozza burger. She said it was really good.
We got takeout here on our way through. Everything was good and hot and the fries were very crispy. Especially enjoyed the view... from the picnic tables. A nice place for lunch, for sure! Read more
Stayed at a cottage in Wallace for a few days, and McMahon's is 3-minute drive down the road. With the state of emergency, they... were only doing take-out, and you had to call and order ahead of pick-up. No big deal, and they usually had our food ready in10-15 minutes. On to the food: It's great - fresh and tasty. The menu is quite extensive, so there should be something foreveryone. And the staff are very friendly. McMahon's quickly became our go-to spot for lunch and dinner for the reasons statedabove. If you're in the Wallace area, give 'em a try. I don't think you' ll be disappointed. Read more
