I absolutely love this place. Yesterday I stopped by there and ordered two dinners and 2 of their amazing side dishes. When I... got home I discovered they only put 1 dinner along with the 2 sides in the bag (yeah I should?ve checked the bag before I left)Anyway, I was too far away to return to the restaurant. I called and spoke with the manager to explain what happened and he wasso pleasant and so accommodating. He told me to come back to the restaurant whenever I could and he would leave a note for thestaff with my name listed and that I would receive a free dinner. Well my husband went to the restaurant today and explained whohe was and not only did they give him the free dinner but offered him a second one because he had to share it with me. HA! Hedeclined the 2nd offer saying he only wanted what was owed but thanked them anyway. The customer service there is always greatbut today they were outstanding! The food is EXCELLENT! I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Outstanding food and service. Was telling my neighbor about the kind treatment I got because... the staff recognized that I am veteran. He just said ?Class Act.? That pretty well sums up this place. Read more
Omg the gearing you get before you get to the counter is outstanding. Very nice staff and tastey food! There was a mistake with my order and Grace was gracious to replace that item,... immediately! She didn?t have to go that far but, great customer service always earns a return visit from me and I want toencourage others to come see these folk and leave smiling to-the-tummy!!! Went over to mission after we went to silver-dinner and waiting 30 minutes without even getting drinks . Grace Met is at the... door and grabbed me the closest table ( i?m on crutches in a cast ) and made sure i had enough room to get in there . Then afteri finished and needed to use the restroom she made sure i was able to get there and opened the door both when i went and andcame out . I was first introduced to Mission BBQ about 2yrs ago when I moved to the DMV. I had only ever eaten at the Landsdowne Center in... Alexandria location; usually ordered the same thing: pulled pork, mac, and beans. I?ve since moved closer to this location inWaldorf. Today made my third visit in about 6mos and the pull pork has yet to look or taste fresh. I?m not sure if the cookingmethod is the same, but it just doesn?t have that same mouth-watering appearance or taste as the other location. If you like BBQ you?ll like this spot. I do recommend. The mac and cheese is a hero! It was my favorite although the meats were... good as well. Loved the Smokey flavors and the six different barbecue sauces you can create and mix if you like. It?s BBQHeaven. The service was fast and the establishment was clean. The decor was a salute to honor all US servicemen and firstresponders. It was a nice environment. I ate the pulled pork, mac and cheese and collard greens. My party had spare ribs andtheir two types of brisket fatty and regular, string beans with pork and beans. The greens and string beans tasted ok theyseemed like they were doctored up out of the can. My job ordered lunch on Nov 30, 2022. The food smelled good, looked good & tasted good. There was so much food that I thought I... would have leftovers, but I could not stop eating because it was so delicious. The prices are reasonable and to know they aregiving back to the community is an added bonus as to why I will continue to support Mission BBQ. I?m hooked. I went back on Dec2nd . Totally yummy .
