Lost my online order. When they finally found the order I had to wait another 20 minutes until I was handed a bag. I had ordered... a large roast beef, which I received. Also ordered a large meatball sub which I did not receive. Instead there was a smallItalian sub in the bag which I had to throw away as I do not like those. Needless to say I will never shop at another FirehouseSubs location. Read more

Ok, I tried twice with this location, large steak and cheese subs and it was horrible. My first horrible sub I got through... Doordash, so I thought going in person would be better....NOT!! Little meat, no cheese, lots of huge green peppers, moremushrooms then meat, and they forgot the pickle on the side both times. I loved Firehouse in SC but this location.... lacks theskills on making a good hearty sub! I spent way to much for way to little!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read more

So slow - this was not fast food. We love and empathize with service workers ? but this experience was excruciating and... inexcusable. Not sure we will be returning. The hot sandwich-making process needs to be fixed. ? to staff for staying calmwhen guests got impatient/irate (no sign of a manager to handle - tsk tsk). Edit after eating: That was the best sub I have hadin a long time. ???? I think I understand why several men waited 40 min quietly for their 2-sandwich orders... They were hopingto get 2 lbs of high-quality lunch meat in their 6-in subs. Added a 3rd ? for the subs we ate. Read more

I Was trying to treat my employees to what I thought was gonna be a delicious meal from my local Firehouse Sub?once I get there... on Crain Hwy in Waldorf, MD?the order taker told me they didn?t have any pickles, no onions, no lettuce and no GM to speak to atthe moment! You can?t enjoy a Hook & Ladder sub without those items! I felt left out, and a little disappointed to say theleast! I looked at her and told her that they needed to shut this place down and someone needs to get it in order to serve theWaldorf area better!! Our local eatery shops here in this town have STOPPED caring about the customers and it shows in theircustomer service and product availability! That?s why I LOVE our local Domino?s Pizza on Crain Hwy!! Firehouse Subs, once againyou have proven that you can?t handle being in this town, this type of service would never take place in Kingstown FirehouseSubs!! Read more

Always a great place to stop in and get a firehouse sub. The place is clean and everyone there is friendly. My favorite sub... there is the Italian but this time I tried the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sandwich. It is now tied with the Italian asmy favorite. The spicy Cajun chicken was one step below that but it was really good also. Read more

I had an awful experience at this firehouse and won't be going back. I ordered a meatball sub for pick up at lunch. I got back... to work and opened the sandwich to see it was extremely burnt. I tend to like things a little charred but this was not edible. Itake it back to firehouse and there is a line to the door so I walk to the counter where a guy was making sandwiches and toldhim about my sandwich and said I just needed it remade. A lady interrupts me to say "he's making a ten sandwich order so youwill have to wait for that and all these people, it's first come first serve." I replied "I just wanted a sandwich replacedbecause of my burnt order." She was very rude and snatched the sandwich from me, threw it away and said "it's still going to be8-10 minutes because that's how long it takes to make" I said "I understand, there's no need to be rude". I asked who themanager was and she smirked and said "Me, We have applications if you want to apply for a job here." I replied with "I have ajob where I don't treat people disrespectfully, especially when I make a mistake". I worked in the food service industry for 15years, I am understanding when things go wrong or people make mistakes. I work in healthcare now and understand the stresses ofbeing understaffed. I walked in polite and did not deserve to be treated that way. Even the other customers that were there werein awe about the way she spoke to me. She didn't even toast my $12 sandwich that I ultimately waited an hour for. Read more

Friday night dinner. No problem, chose my favorite sub place again. Plenty of laughs with the best staff and the best subs.... Everything was as tasty ???? as always. Tried the Mac and cheese and it was okay but I don?t think I will be ordering it again????. But hey, it?s a sub restaurant. Thank you again and I will definitely be back. Read more
