Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants to frequent. Great service and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food,... however, while still very tasty and filling, has been lacking on the spices the past few times I've visited. I feel that it'd beperfect if they just added some salt, pepper and some herbs to their dishes, it would really amp up the flavor into the 5-starrange. I have been to this cracker barrel a handful of times. Each time the experience has been different. The first few times the food... was great...another time the waitress was new, and our food was cold...the times after that the service and the food wasbad...but this time it seems they have a new manager, Heather, and she was delightful...She didn't give us an issue when wewanted to changes tables. She even cleaned and swept the floor before we were seated...She helped the staff when they needed it,and she was so cheerful and willing to please. We ate here on a Thurs evening. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. I would give him 5 stars. The food and tea was... good, especially the mac and cheese. The weird thing is that they give you utensils in a little sleeve, but it was 2 forksonly. You'd have to ask for a spoon or knife. Also, they really need to wipe down the antique stuff that hangs up fordecoration. You can see where food has gotten on it, closer to the tables. And the menus tend to be grimy/greasy too. Read more

Pretty much the worst Cracker Barrel experience I?ve had. Don?t get me wrong, I love Cracker Barrel and I go there fairly often.... My wife and I waited an extra two hours to get food just to go to this one, but we shouldn?t have. The bathroom floors left yourshoes sticky when you walked out. The Maple Bacon Chicken had nothing maple about it. It?s usually my favorite item on the menu,but it lacked severely here. The loaded sweet potato didn?t have nuts, like it?s supposed to, and it was only lukewarm. Finally,there was only one cashier (running two positions) even though the line to pay stretched most of the way across the store. Read more
