Great vibe, great food. Really friendly staff. Clean restrooms. All of these unheard of in the 460 corridor.
Absolutely delicious barbecue and very impressive brisket. Friendly folks and a very clean restaurant. The only thing that I... don't personally like was the lack of eastern NC vinegar sauce and a giant pile of wood in the back. Absolutely wonderful place to eat with great tasting food and extremely kind staff. The restaurant was spotless, the music... wasn?t overbearingly loud, and the food was hot and delicious. The bathrooms are in a detached building and are very, very nice.They are air-conditioned clean and have changing tables and are stocked with child and feminine essentials. My few suggestionswould be to have some wet naps available in the main dining room to clean your hands, some lemon wedges to go with the tea, andI hope to see the fresh squeezed limeades offered by their Smithfield location make their way here. Stopped off at Q Daddy?s for the first time today and the entire experience was top notch. We were greeted as soon as we stepped... in by no less than 3 separate employees. The atmosphere was fantastic (it reminds me of a rustic diner) and the dining area wasspotless. I haven?t even begun to mention the food?.the pulled pork, the pork ribs, the Mac?n?cheese, baked beans and coleslawwere all delicious. ???????????????????? This place deserves a 10-star rating. Great food! Great service! No disappointments! The times that the wife and I have been have been excellent. Just to let you know... they are closed on Sundays. If you travel to and from Virginia Beach or the Outer Banks/Nags Head area and are going home on aSaturday and don't feel like cooking when you get there, by all means take the time to stop here. I don't believe you will bedisappointed. It may be a bit pricey but the food you'll get will be worth it in quality and quantity. Read more

This was my first time at Q Daddy's BBQ. We were stopping for the night en route from Charleston, WV to the Outer Banks of North... Carolina. The employees were so friendly and helpful. They knew we were tourists. The food was delicious. I had the brisketsandwich and my partner had a half rack of ribs. We tried all of the various sauces. Though we arrived just 40 minutes beforeclosing, they were happy to serve us for inside dining, though we offered to get our meals to-go, so they could close. WaverlyVA is a fun little town and a great decompression stop to get you in the vacation mood. Read more
