When I lived in Reading, I'd frequent the cafe and it was amazing! So fresh! So it was a no-brainer for me when looking to order... a few trays for my daughter?s bday from the catering side. Except, they do not pick up the phone. Like ever. I also submitted anemail inquiry because there's just so much to choose from and I'd hoped to either stop by or pick their ear briefly on thephone. No reply. I must've called 10+ times over the course of the past week and literally no answer. Nothing on website or vmto indicate vacation or otherwise... really don't know what to think. Warm Cozy Quaint and Wonderful .. .. First visit today and it was a meeting place for Me and my son who lives about 2 minutes... walk from this little place. The omelet (make your own) was exceptional and the sandwich special my son was excellent. The daywas cold and rainy but a steady stream of people came in to get lunch and/or dinner while my son and i enjoyed the comfort ofthe dining area and had a great lunch together and a great visit!! This is an amazing little place in the center of Wakefield- they have a large selection of sandwiches, soups and more, made to... order. I love their sandwiches and wish they had the Thanksgiving Panini year round! (Hint, hint) :) It?s a very small place soyou may have to wait, but they have a nice outdoor seating area and a small indoor seating area. Staff are friendly andaccommodating. The food was excellent. It seemed fresh made with good quality ingredients. Location and service are good. I had the Turkey BLT... with whole chunks of Turkey breasts not sliced deli. My wife had the chicken parmesan sandwich it was excellent. Read more
My lovely Daughter suggested this 8 table quant place for Vegetarian food but they also serve Salmon, Chicken, Beef, Lamb with... there Sandwiches, and pairings I ordered a chicken Panini and a Veggie Quiche slice was so filling never needed the Panini thatwas out of this world with Field greens juicy Chicken Breast was great all by itself. The Quiche was very fresh great flavorperfect textures fabulously made. Christa had the Portabella mushroom and Asparagus sandwich on superior Marble with fieldgreens 95 lbs she is soaking wet.
