I have eaten pizza at this same location for many years -- back when it was called Main Street Grill and Pizzeria. That was a... great place but it died a slow death and now -- ALL the Main Street Grill locations & even their Bakery are all history.Sad. Well, after Mario's opened up -- we hadn't eaten here in a year -- so, so many other pizza places in this town . . . Well,we decided to give this new pizza cooker a try. We now eat here several times a week. They are now our go to pizza joint. Theyare never crowded -- which is nice for a quiet meal. They have a continuous stream of take-out customers though. I stronglyrecommend this place. Waiters Heather and Hector do a really good job. They deserve a raise. ;^D Read more

We had another pizza place in Wake Forest that provided us with NY quality pizza for years. Then they changed ownership and the... quality and customer service changed with it. We had tried the pizza at this location before Mario?s took it over and it was notall that impressive?until now. We have found our new go to place. As a native New Yorker, finding a slice that meets myexpectations is tough, finding one like we had today at Mario?s exceeded those expectations. We will be back for many times tocome. THANK YOU! Food is so good. Our go to spot. Being from up north, it?s hard to find solid pizza but this place knows how to do it- best... garlic knots in Raleigh! The one time we had an order miscommunication, they instantly fixed the order free of charge. 10/10would recommend. Read more
Fantastic NY style pizza - both the crust and sauce has great flavor and they use high quality mozzarella cheese. Salads are... fresh, cold and crisp. Other dishes we really like are the eggplant parm, spinach rolls, and chicken marsala? and the zeppolisare huge and delicious! Great casual dining. Staff is super accommodating and Mario and his family work super hard to make yourmeals delicious ? every time. Don?t miss out on this hidden gem. Read more
Coming from a New Yorker, this is by far the best representation of a Margherita that we have been able to find in triangle... area. Not sure why it is so overpriced, but it certainly is a quality pie. Probably best to pick it up to ensure it makes it inone piece. Read more
