Oops. I critiqued the wrong Subway. My experience was at a Subway counter in Hudson Bay Saskatchewan. My experience at this... location was far different and better; I've added another star. The woman at the food counter was just excellent. She was ableto guide us quickly and competently to select the meal we wanted (breakfast sandwiches): I'm usually such a klutz at this. Weremarked at the time just how good she was -- good service and good food. I'll stick by my original comments as a generalstatement, just not at this place. Original review: This is something every customer service person should always do instantlyand cheerfully: "Hi, I'll be right with you or "Hello, how are you? I'll be just a moment while I..." The customer may bethinking "Is that the dish washer or janitor in the back room? How long will it take for a customer service person to appear?"Meanwhile the employee is thinking, "Why are they looking at me? They should know I'm the customer service person and I'm busyand will get to them as soon as I can." Neither party is happy. Please acknowledge customers immediately and willingly. This was our first time coming to Crossroads since it changed. I have lots of good memories coming as a child and I had not... realized it had changed so much. I do not like the new set up. I will say the food was a 7/10 and the lady working theCrossroads food counter provided 10/10 service especially since she was the only one working the front area. Bathrooms weredirty and not tended too. One stall did not lock properly and it was the only one somewhat clean. Read more

Great service every time. Abundant selection of product to choose from for road snacks or stock up with items for the lake. If... your hungry there are options for hot food, you won't be disappointed. A must try is a selection of cold meat (sausage) from thelocal meat shop it is super delicious, they even offer it a snack size cheese n pickle tray. Read more
