Loved the food! And the service!! However, it seemed pretty odd to charge extra for a second basket of chips $1.50 per ?round?... of chips and salsa. When we asked if we could get another serving of salsa with our second basket of chips, they said it is$1.50 per ?individual round?, meaning one round of chips was $1.50 and it would cost another $1.50 for the salsa. So, inreality, they charge you $3.00 for a second serving of chips with salsa. With a $19.00 entree and two $9.99 large margaritas and18% tip (would have been a larger tip because the service was good, but management nickel and diming us regarding the chips andsalsa, I decided to give a smaller tip than usual for us (our normal tip is 30% with good service)). All together our bill withtip came to $50. I would have paid the $3 more for the second ?round? of chips and salsa, if it had been built into the cost ofthe entree. Seems kind of silly to charge extra for things other restaurants serve complimentary with their meals. The fact thatthey charged extra for it left a sour taste in our mouths in spite of how wonderful the food tasted. Read more
I?ve eaten at the sartell location many years ago but stopped in to their new location in Waite park and cannot say enough good... things. St. Cloud has a huge Mexican restaurant grown recently and this place stands above the rest. Family owned, authenticMexican food and just an nice overall feel when you step in. What an amazing Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is most excellent and the staff is very courteous. Food portions are... large and at a reasonable price point. I would highly recommend Añejos to anyone that loves Mexican food! The carnitas wereamazing. Great taste and great proportions of food. OMG?. The food was sooo good I mean good, good!!! ;) I got a little bit of everything and EVERYTHING was delicious. The staff... are amazing as well. I wish I could give more stars. If you?re ever in Waite Park, MN and looking for some good authentic Mexican food, make sure you check this place out!!!! (p.s. the lime star was super cute) I definitely will be going back soon. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. There was actually mold on the wrap or something that resembled it and the... food looked nasty.
