This place was really great. The atmosphere is lively and bustling with people. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our... waitress Claire was sweet, funny and gave us great food recommendations. She also managed to keep her cool and give excellentservice while managing multiple tables including a table of 20 people!! The food was so fresh and just delicious. You won’t bedisappointed here. We tried the Cavalo kale salad, garlic mozzarella focaccia, tagliatelle bolognese pasta, chicken Milanese,and MPA pizza. All were so tasty!! We also got cannolis and tiramisu to go and both were delicious. I want to go back becausethe menu has so much to offer and everything we saw looked good. Enjoy!! Read more
Was a nice place and obviously been around awhile. Has celebrities photos all over the wall upon entry. Very small dining area.... Food was ok. Nothing to complain about but not overly impressive. Ordered a cheese pizza and came out with shrimp on it! Wasnot expecting that. Overpriced for the value. Would probably not go again. Read more
Now THIS is a great restaurant with great food and ambiance. If you are staying at Kohala Hotels break out from there and try... some local fare with the Good Luck Pueo (Local Owl) which is a good luck symbol to Hawaii People. Food was great and serviceoutstanding. Read more
I'm a little conflicted about this review. The good. Good and inviting decor. Rapid service. Pasta cooked perfectly. Dishes... were very good with fresh local ingredients. The no so good. The menu specifically asks guests not to stay more than 90minutes. Definitely a demerit. Then the server asked us if we were ready to order at least 4 times. So we felt rushed. Thedishes were explained rapidly with no real depth. There only beer on the menu is Kona Brewing which is not a local beer, theywere split up between AB Inbev and an investment group. There are outstanding local brews including Hawaiian Ola, but themanager said that the Budweiser brand was cheaper. Hmm. Since this is supposed to be a fine dining experience, I really don'tthink I should be on the clock. Read more
