Nice food, served lightening quick after very long resort wait. Duck was a bit fatty, smashed potatoes were quite smokey. Poke... nachos were very good. Shrimp was good. Prices were very high, though not outrageous. Read more

Visited on 8/16/22. Cocktails and dessert fine but food is very bland and overpriced. Waitress never came back for cocktail... order so I never got to try them. $42 steak with no seasoning, $22 burger with no seasoning, service was pretty slow andinattentive. Rum is good but you can buy it at Total Wine if you really want. Rum flights are a nice touch for fun andlocation is good. But overall I just paid $180 for a VERY forgettable meal. Even in Hawaii you can find someplace else and getway better value. Read more

The rum is great and there’s a rum tasting for $12. Straight rum is a little much for me and I couldn’t finish a full glass.... I prefer it mixed in a cocktail. Anyway, the food is good. It’s very commercial and I felt like it was a get ‘em in and get‘em out type of place. I think the entire experience from rum tasting to dinner was an hour. Personally, I’m on vacation andI want to relax and enjoy my evenings. I had the duck as an entree and it was really good. It comes with mashed potatoes andcarrots. There’s no children’s menu, which is surprising with the number of kids here. I’d come back here for the rum. Read more

Great food, awesome cocktails and friendly staff. I wish the main entrees came after we had finished our appetizers and salads... though because our steak came before we finished appetizers and before starting our salads. We ended up packing salads to go. Read more

We had a really good experience the last time we were on Kona, so we were excited to come back. While we had a good experience,... it was not as good as last time. The duck was a touch overcooked, but still a great plate of food. The pork chop was overcookedand very dry. The coffee rub didn't add enough flavor. The mushroom risotto that accompanied it was amazing. I could have eatena whole bowl of just the risotto. Their cocktails are excellent (and dangerous!). If you're looking for some unique drinks. Honestly, an incredible dinner experience! They take their rum seriously, and it doesn’t disappoint. They have an extensive... cocktail menu with lots of options and great food to go with it. I highly recommend this spot and will be coming back! Read more

Had amazing cocktails and really good food! We only got appetizers and a couple of drinks but everything was fresh and tasty.... The fired chicken was the highlight, super crispy with tasty sauce! Read more

Best restaurant on the big island hands down. We had wings and tomato mozzarella (special) as an app - chicken was juicy, crispy... on the outside and sauce was amazing.. tomato mozzarella was incredible. I had the duck which was delicious my husband had theahi tuna special which was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Was cooked perfectly and sauce was an amazing fusion of flavors.I need the recipe for those sauces please !! So good. Every cocktail we had was well balanced and unique. We then had a rumtasting and dessert. Our waitress Joy was a wealth of knowledge and so helpful when pairing our food and cocktails. She is anasset to this company and I would highly recommend this restaurant in part due to the food but also due to the amazing service.Thank you Joy for making our last night on big island a memorable one. You’re awesome ! Read more
