This review is for Katey. I feel very fortunate that she picked up the phone when I called them, since they are technically... closed and only sell in the farmer's market on Saturdays. She invited me over to the farm and helped me pick out so muchamazing produce. She was kind and patient and walked me through all of their stock in all their fridges and offered useful tipsand suggestions about fruits/veges I was unfamiliar with. Great fresh food, the fish is a must have. Not cheap, but the healthiest food in Makaha side. Too bad they don't open on... weekends. They also have a farmer's market Tuesday & Saturday morning, I highly recommend. Very casual, bring mosquitoes'repellent ??????????? Read more

Lick your plate clean worthy food. I am gluten free and pretty much everything was gluten free or they were able to accommodate... to my needs. The food is all fresh and leaves you feeling satisfied and good. This hidden gem is worth multiple visits during astay on Oahu. Read more

Very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the variety of creative dishes. The veteran options were great. I loved that we could... bring our dog while we are in the outdoors. We went at night so we got to appreciate the beautiful outdoor seating.Surprisingly, there were no bugs bothering us and the string lights were perfect: strong enough so you can see clearly, but softenough for enjoyable mood lighting. They play music inside pretty loud so that it can be heard from outside. I look forward togoing back! It's a bit away from the main road and if you drive out at night, the drive may feel a little sketchy. Once you getthere, it's definitely worth it. Read more

An absolutely wonderful experience all the way around. Staying in this incredibly peaceful place was ideal for us. It?s a very... simple, humble, no frills as far as the nightly stay but they offer a fantastic experience of starry skies, working farm housinginteractive, welcoming, and muddied barefooted farmers with smiles and conversations. Chickens clucking their way around the penwith offerings of early morning wake up calls. Open land of overgrown grasses and patches of gardens growing veggies outskirtsthe mountainous view. For those willing to forgo any extra comforts and take on a more relaxed (and while not, it may be forsome, rugged) experience, this is a must! It?s a shared space, as it is a retreat house and expect to leave your shoes at thedoor as is Hawaii custom. The cafe doesn?t disappoint either. The chefs spread is abundant and beautiful sharing the farms ownorganic produce. It was the best food we tasted in the island and looked forward to the next meal. Read more

The food was great. It would have been wonderful if it had been seasoned more while cooking. The salad was bitter, maybe more... carrots or some type of lettuce that was not so bitter.
