Service is a little slow but in the defense of the only waitress on duty it wasn't her fault. She was crushing it but the place... was pretty full with large parties. The gizzards I had ever in need of seasoning, as were the German fries but it wasn'tsomething I couldn't fix with the salt and pepper from the table. Read more

Five of us went for lunch. We sat in the family dining area. They were short staffed, but the one server they had managed to... keep everything going at a good pace. Our food came out hot and service was right on. Definitely a place we want to visitagain. Read more

Great Food, Fun Atmosphere.

Food was okay. We had family style for 18. The room was large but the tables were not set up well for all of us to talk... easily. The cod was not good. Everyone said the chicken was good. Kinda pricey $17 each. There were a lot of sides but thegreen beans and slaw were the best. There was mashed potatoes gravy dumplings/chicken rolls and a couple others I cantremember. You talk about a best kept secret place. They have very good food. If your party is big enough like ours was they do serve... family style servings which everything was really good. They have days like last weekend they had muscle cars at the restaurant.If you like fried chicken you will love this place. It's in St. Wendell, Indiana you have to try this place if you have neverbeen there. It was first time but absolutely will not be my last. Great place to stop in. I enjoy the fried chicken. Prices are great and portions are huge. I haven't tried a side there that I... didn't like. Gizzards and livers are good. Love the decor. It takes you back. No complaints. Restrooms were just recentlyupdated and look great. Facility is clean and staff is super. Worth the drive out of Evansville to check out. Read more

Food is always consistent and good. Like everywhere else nowadays, the service is sometimes a little slow. I assume due to staff... shortages. We usually eat their Family Style and bring an unbaked pizza home for later use. Their Onion Rings are great!Homemade they are. Not a fancy place, just small town homecooking! Great Place! Read more
